Days of Our Lives Spoilers: John and Marlena New Wedding Day Set – Will They Make It Through The Ceremony?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal the NBC soap opera has its 53rd anniversary coming up on November 8th, 2018 and what would be more special than have the wedding all fans have been waiting for – Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) marrying her longtime love, John Black (Drake Hgestyn) with their dear friend Mayor Abe Carver (James Reynolds) officiating.

Fans of the NBC daytime drama know their last wedding didn’t work out so well, when Samantha “Sami’ Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) arrived, drugged out of her mind and waving around a gun; ultimately getting arrested and wrongfully charged with shooting her mother, Marlena. Needless to say, the wedding was a disaster from beginning to end; but what nuptials even happens without drama in Salem, right?

DOOL sources show that the supercouple “Jarlena” have already been married four separate times, although it could be debated among fans since some of those marriages he was believed to be Roman Brady (then portrayed by Wayne Northrop and now portrayed by Josh Taylor). They have had their shares of ups and downs, but if one could deserves some happiness in Salem, it definitely should be John and Marlena.

Now that John’s children, Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) are in town as well as Marlena’s children, Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney), Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) – all struggling with their own personal demons, its the perfect time to bring something to look forward to; even if its for a little while.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that John and Marlena should not leave their backs exposed, as we have seen several doors in the lab, with initials of people Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) kept alive for a reason. Kristen and Dr. Rolf (William Utay) managed to escape the facility when it exploded and you can be sure Kristen isn’t done seeking vengeance on the people who destroyed her father and all his work – Marlena, John, Brady and Eric being at the top of her list.
