Speaking with Soap Opera Digest, Mansi confirmed that everyone finds out the truth about Charlotte’s paternity. Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is not the father like the test results indicated. Instead, it is Chad and Gabi’s (Camila Banus) deception is exposed.
However, just because the paternity truth is revealed and Stefan has been served divorce papers, don’t think everything will go back to normal. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that “Chabby” will feel the aftershocks of the pain.
“Peace is sort of restored to their family unit through Charlotte and Chad, but it’s not restored to their relationship as a couple because Abigail’s trust has been so deeply damaged by him. She feels so betrayed.”

Kate Mansi also explains that Abigail wonders how Chad could so easily believe Gabi, but couldn’t believe his own wife. Not only that, but Chad allowed Gabi to move into the DiMera mansion to play house with Chad. As fans recall, this is not the first time this has happened between “Chabby” and “Chabi,” however, will it be the last? Is there any hope that Chad and Abigail can have their happily ever after? It seems that each time they are no road to happiness, something… or someone… gets in their way.
“He is the father of Charlotte and they need to make up for lost time. I’ll be damned if anyone keeps me from having a relationship with my kids and one with their father.”
