Days of Our Lives Spoiler & Recap Tuesday, December 25: Chad Learns Charlotte’s His Daughter – Julie Regains Her Memory

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday December, 25, 2018, reveals Sheila (Tione “T-Boz” Watkins) is writing a card in the park when Abe (James Reynolds) walks through in front of her.

Sheila Surprises Abe With A Gift

Sheila asks Abe if he isn’t supposed to be with his girlfriend, he tells her it was a disaster. Sheila asks Abe what happened. Abe says the distance has put emotional miles between him and Valerie (ex-Vanessa Williams). Sheila asks Abe if he loves Valerie and tells him if they love each other they need to work harder before it becomes “out of sight, out of mind.” Sheila brings Abe a gift for Christmas; it’s a pair of running shoes. Abe is shocked by his gift. Abe tells Sheila he would never wear these shoes.

Sheila tells Abe that thank you is the words he is looking for and those shoes look better than the ugly ones he’s so worried about finding. Abe agrees to try the shoes since Sheila spent her whole wedding paycheck on them. Abe and Sheila agree to go to the Christmas party together. Roman (Josh Taylor) hands out gifts to the kids as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) teases Abe over his shoes. Sheila asks how married life is treating Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Sonny (Freddie Smith).

Sonny tells Sheila it’s getting worse every day. Leo says Sonny is joking and grabs him to kiss him. Kayla tells Sonny that Roman needs to speak to him and sends him to another room. Abe and Sheila stay at the hospital, and she dances with the kids. Sheila talks Abe into dancing with them. Meanwhile, Leo interrupts Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny’s moment.

Roman Comforts Kayla And Will

Days of Our Lives’ Roman, Will, and Kayla are at the pub cleaning up. Roman suggests Will and Kayla go to the hospital to help set up for the Christmas party. Roman and Will discuss Sonny and Leo’s marriage. Will tells him no matter why they married, he and Sonny can’t be together. Lucas (ex-Bryan Dattilo) calls Will to wish him Merry Christmas.

Kayla believes Steve doesn’t want to see her again. Abby (Kate Mansi) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) arrive at the hospital and tell Kayla they need to talk to her, it’s urgent. Abby tells Kayla that Julie saw the original test results in Gabi’s room and Chad (Billy Flynn) is the father of Charlotte. Kayla remembers that Gabi (Camila Banus) was there when the test results were delivered.

Kayla says the original results are in the hospital database. Abby tries to explain to Stefan why Gabi would do this as Kayla looks up the result. Kayla confirms the test results; Chad is the baby’s father. Kayla is sitting in her office as Roman brings her flowers from Steve. Steve calls Kayla for Christmas.

Leo Upsets The Kids

Days of Our Lives’ Leo has upset Ari (Harper and Sydney Udell) and Thomas (Asher Morrissette) by telling them Santa isn’t real. Chad and Sonny do damage control for the kids. Leo wants to open gifts; they tell him the kids aren’t ready. Sonny tells Leo he is leaving to go to the hospital Christmas party. Leo wants he and Sonny to make their debut as a married couple.

Chad and Gabi bring Thomas and Ari to the hospital party. Will says at least some people are getting what they want, Abby has divorced Stefan and has taken Charlotte home. Will tells Chad that Abby played Stefan to get released and then divorced him. Leo makes an announcement and interrupts the party. Chad is deep in thought when Gabi tells him they need to take the kids home.

Gabi Dreams Of A Life With Chad

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi is dreaming that she and Chad are together and they tell Thomas that Gabi is their mom now. Gabi comes downstairs and asks if the kids are ready to open gifts. Chad tells her they are eating right now. Gabi says when Chad and Thomas move in with her they can spend Christmas together every year. Chad looks at Sonny when Abby makes that remark.

Chad and Gabi arrive home and put the kids down for a nap. Gabi tells Chad Abby is probably going to show up with a new story. Gabi leaves Chad downstairs, and Abby arrives to speak to him. Abby tells Chad that Charlotte is his. Chad asks what, Abby tells him Charlotte is their daughter.

Julie Is Happy Abby Is Home

Days of Our Lives’ Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) comes into the room and speaks to Abby. Julie says it is nice to see Abby there with Charlotte; they sit down to talk. Abby apologizes to Julie for sending her to Gabi’s room. Julie feels like she let Abby down. Abby tells Julie she doesn’t feel alone because of her.

Abby tells Julie she didn’t mean to ruin everyone’s Christmas, she had hoped her mother and J.J. (Casey Moss) would believe she hadn’t relapsed. Julie tells Abby they will do a victory dance when they bring Gabi down. Abby doesn’t want Julie to take any more chances. Julie wishes she was in the room when Abby gave Stefan his surprise.

Stefan Demands To See Charlotte

Days of Our Lives’ Stefan arrives at the Horton’s demanding to see his daughter. Abby lets Stefan in to see the baby, and he brings her a teddy bear. Julie questions why Stefan is there. Stefan plans to take Charlotte home to open gifts tonight. Abby and Stefan fight over the baby, and Julie witnesses it. Julie tells Abby she remembers all of it, Stefan isn’t the baby’s father, Chad is.

Abby and Stefan tell Julie that is impossible they had DNA test run that proved Stefan is the father. Julie tells them that Gabi changed the test results and how they struggled. Abby says this makes sense because Gabi wanted her and Chad separated. Stefan says neither of them is taking his child from him; there is no proof she isn’t his. Gabi suggests they talk to Kayla about the DNA test. Stefan arrives home and destroys the presents and attacks the Christmas tree.

Today’s show was to Peggy McCay who played Carolyn Brady from 1983 to 2016. Peggy passed away October 7,2018.
