Days of Our Lives Recap Wednesday, September 5 Marlena’s Health Deteriorates

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, September 5, 2018,  Abby (Marci Miller) is on the phone with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). Abby tells J.J. (Casey Moss) that Marlena is still critical. J.J. is keeping Abby company. Abby tells J.J. what she saw with Chad (Billy Flynn) and Gabi (Camila Banus).

J.J. and Julie Believe Abby Is Right

Abby doesn’t trust Gabi. J.J. says Gabi is her best friend, Abby doesn’t believe that. Abby tells J.J. what went on with Gabi. Abby says Gabi is not the friend she says she is. Abby tells J.J. about the weird vibe whenever she is around Gabi. Abby asks J.J. if Gabi has given him any indication that she is still mad at her. J.J. remembers talking to Gabi about Ari (Sydney and Harper Udell) and Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) diagnosis. J.J. tells Abby she might be right. J.J. asks if Abby thinks Gabi will try and hurt her.

Abby gets Thomas back to bed. Abby thanks J.J. for keeping her company. Julie comes home, and J.J. leaves. J.J. assures Abby things will be ok. Julie questions what J.J. was talking about with Abby. Julie tells Abby she can’t be too careful around Gabi.

Gabi Pushes Chad For A Divorce

Days of Our Lives’ Chad tells Hope he will contact her if Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) calls. Chad tells Abby what happened to Paul and Kristen. Chad helps Gabi cut out penguins for Ari’s project. Chad says Thomas keeps asking why he’s not home. Chad says Abby is showing more. Chad gets the baby isn’t Abby’s fault. Gabi tells Chad there is no going back from what Eli did.

Gabi says she cut ties with Eli because of her fears that she might have resented the baby. Gabi urges Chad to divorce Abby. Chad isn’t going to give up on his marriage. Gabi tells Chad that he and Abby are her best friends. Chad thanks Gabi for art therapy and the talk. Chad goes to make a sandwich. Gabi is ranting because Chad won’t let go of Abby. Gabi vows to give Chad a final push.

Valerie and Julie Urge Eli And Lani To Admit Their Feelings

Days of Our Lives’ Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) are at the Salem is. Lani is blaming Sami (Alison Sweeney) for Paul’s(Christopher Sean) accident. Lani is checking Eli’s notes and can’t read them. Eli brings Lani coffee. Eli tries to take his notes, Lani keeps it from him. Lani and Eli share a close moment, and she goes to the hospital. Lani stops by to speak to Brady (Eric Martsolf).

Valerie (Vanessa Williams) invites Lani to dinner. Eli and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) talk at the station. Lani tells Valerie she’s afraid she and Eli are about to make a big mistake. Eli tells Julie he is leaning on Lani. Eli tells Julie about the kiss. Julie tells Eli to be honest about his feelings. Eli doesn’t want to screw up their friendship. Julie tells Eli she wants him to be happy. Valerie advises Lani to see where her and Eli’s feelings take them. Eli comes to get Lani, and they have a new assignment.

Kristen Demands Stefan’s Help

Days of Our Lives’ Kristen begs Stefan (Tyler Christopher) to hide her before collapsing in his arms. Stefan wakes Kristen up. Kristen says someone pushed her out a window. Stefan tells Kristen he thought she was dead. Kristen tells Stefan that happens a lot with this family. Stefan questions what happened at the wedding. Kristen won’t give Stefan details. Stefan can see why someone would push her out a window. Kristen needs Stefan’s help because he isn’t bothered by principles.

Stefan starts to call the police, Kristen grabs the phone. Kristen tells Stefan she is all his has. Stefan tells Kristen about the baby. Kristen says she doubts Abby celebrates being knocked up by Stefan. Kristen tells Stefan she sees a lot of Stefano in him. The doorbell rings, Stefan goes to answer it. Kristen asks what if it’s the police. Stefan says she will find out if her faith in him was warranted. Lani and Eli are at the door asking if he’s heard from Kristin.

Marlena Loses Consciousness Again

Days of Our Lives’ Brady asks Valerie for updates on Paul. Paul is still in surgery. Marlena (Deidre Hall) regains consciousness and asks John (Drake Hogestyn) what happened. John tells her she scared everyone but will be fine now. Marlena tries to get up, and John stops her. Marlena remembers the wedding. Marlena asks about Kristen and Sami. John tells Marlena Sami missed him and shot her. John says Marlena Kristen is on the loose. Brady comes in to give them an update.

Brady tells Marlena how glad he is to see her. Brady wants to talk to John outside. Marlena doses off to sleep. John asks Brady what is going on. Brady tells John about Kristen kidnapping Eve. Brady tells John what happened to Paul. Brady tells John Paul is in surgery and seriously injured. Brady tells John the whole story. John wants to know where Kristen is. John is upset that Kristen walked away. Brady apologizes to John. Valerie goes to check on Marlena, and she pass
