“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Tuesday May 29 2018 reveals Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Victor (John Aniston), they have some things to discuss. Sonny says he can explain, he thinks this is about Leo.
Victor Fires Sonny
Sonny tells Victor he will change his mind about keeping him as CEO, and begins to tell him about Leo. Sonny tells Victor how Leo tricked him. Victor tells Sonny “you turn about and got screwed, literally”. Victor tells Sonny he is smarter than this and fires him immediately. Sonny understand, he never thought in a million years this would happen to him. Victor calls an emergency board meeting while Sonny leaves to see Will.
Sonny And Will Share A Moment
Days of Our Lives’ Will (Chandler Massey) and Ari are playing after going to the park, Lucas shows up to see them. Will wants to know if Lucas (Byan Dattilo) has any news about Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), he hasn’t heard anything. Lucas tells Will about Gabi’s (Camille Banus) conviction being overturned. Lucas goes to entertain Ari while Lucas calls Sonny. Sonny arrives and Ari paints his face. Sonny tells Will he talked to Leo and how he has been using bad judgement.
Sonny tells Will that Victor fired him, he takes Sonny’s hand and tells him he’s sorry. Lucas shows back up with Ari and Sonny prepares to leave. Will wants news when Lucas gets any from John about Chloe. Sonny thanks Will again for letting him be there. Paul calls Will and tells him he’s great and that they found Chloe, they are coming home now. Sonny is visibly upset over the phone conversation. Chloe calls Lucas and tells him she is ok and on her way home.
Diane Attacks Gabi Again
Days of Our Lives’ Diane (Cassandra Creech), Raines girlfriend, show up in the infirmary and promises to give Gabi trouble. Diane says Rafe (Galin Gering) went to the warden to get Gabi out, she says no. Diane is determined to kill Gabi. Diane unhooks Gabi’s call button. Sonny and Will tells Ari that Gabi will be home when she wakes up, as Gabi collapses from Diane’s attack. Gabi comes to in the infirmary and Diane is on the floor with a needle sticking out of her neck.
Chloe Kills Mateo
Days of Our Lives’ Paul (Christopher Sean) and John (Drake Hogestyn) are looking for Chloe, Mateo (Andoni Gracia) pulls a gun and calls in his henchmen. Mateo believes they are there with a warrant, John tells him they are just there for Chloe. Mateo tells John an associate warned him that he and Paul were coming. John tells Mateo that he’s with the ISA and wants Chloe now. Mateo asks which of them he should shoot first. John offers to give Mateo information on other cartels, he refuses and turns to shoot. Chloe walks up behind Mateo and stabs him. Mateo’s men are taken down by John and Paul, and threaten to kill Chloe. John says he, Paul and Chloe are leaving if they blast their way out.
Eve Makes Brady’s Decision For Him
Days of Our Lives’ Brady (Eric Martsolf) shows up at Eve’s (Kassie DePaiva) room, he has decided what he wants. Brady tells Eve they are in a place they can move forward. Brady tells Theresa (Jen Lilley) she is the mother of his child and he’s what matters. Theresa says Eve can continue to grow close to their son as his aunt. Eve stops Brady and says he and Theresa need to hear her out first. Eve tells Brady she is going to step aside, Tate needs his mother.
Now that Theresa is back he deserves his family back. Brady tells Eve that her needs are important too. Eve says Tate’s feelings come before any of theirs. If Theresa had not left, Eve and Brady would have never been together. Theresa cries and hugs Eve and thanks her. Theresa wants Brady to give Eve time alone, he refuses. Brady sends Theresa home, she thanks Eve and leaves. Eve tells Brady she is sure about this. Brady questions if Theresa did something to make her come to his decision.
Eve tells Brady Theresa had nothing to do with her decision. Eve tells Brady she doesn’t have a child that needs a mother and father and wants him to accept her decision. Brady says he promised not to hurt Eve again, she tells him this was her decision. Eve says Theresa shouldn’t be punished for putting him and Tate first, Brady say Eve shouldn’t either.
Eve says she knows this if the right thing for Brady, Tate and Theresa and tells him to go home. Brady hates leaving Eve this way, she says she’s used to being alone and will just throw herself into work. Eve gives Brady back his engagement ring. Brady wants to tell Eve his decision, she doesn’t want to know. Eve is crying in her room over Brady.

Theresa Tells Victor About Chloe And Mateo
Days of Our Lives’ Theresa goes home and asks Sonny where Victor is. Victor wants to know why Theresa is not more excited. Victor knows something is going on and wants to know what now. Victor doesn’t believe Theresa and demands she talk to him. Theresa brings up Chloe.
Theresa tells Victor that Mateo has Chloe and that she had no choice but to leave her there. Victor says Chloe made her bed a long time ago and she will lose Brady forever if he finds out what she did. Brady walks in and questions what Victor is talking about. Victor tells Brady that Theresa was just asking him to be quiet about Eve. Brady says he wants no more secrets in this house. Theresa wants to know how Eve is, Brady says they are both upset. Theresa wants Brady to go with her to hang out with Tate.
