Days of Our Lives Recap Tuesday, May 22: Eve Confronts Theresa Over Leaving Brady and Tate

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Monday, May 21, 2018, reveals Will (Chandler Massey) spilling a drink on a blank page figuring out that Rolf (William Utay) used disappearing ink in his diary.

The Mystery Of The Blank Pages Solved

Will calls Paul (Christopher Sean) and he wants his help, however Paul is going to Mexico to save Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Will is convinced that if the formula is figured out, other people’s lives can be saved. Will is worried because saving Chloe is dangerous. Paul points out that John wouldn’t let him handle this if he wasn’t confident in Paul’s skills.

Julie Tells Ciara About Her Rape

Days of Our Lives’ Ciara (Victoria Konefal) goes by Doug’s Place to change while Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) make dinner. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) questions why Ciara can’t change at home, which leads to question about her and Tripp’s relationship. Julie wants to know if Tripp and Ciara are planning to have sex. Ciara needs to be ready since she hasn’t had sex since the rape Julie advises. Julie tells Ciara that she was raped and it can come up during sex. Ciara needs to realize that the rape doesn’t have to define Ciara. Ciara assures Julie she will be fine if she and Tripp do take the next step.

Ciara Isn’t As Ready As She Thought

Days of Our Lives’ Ciara arrives at the apartment, Tripp tells her she’s looks beautiful. Ciara can’t believe Tripp did all of this, the food smells amazing. Tripp toasts to finally having a night alone. Tripp asks if Ciara missing Claire and offers to text her to come home, jokingly of course. Tripp tells Ciara she could be an International Superstar in a matter of days, they start to kiss and the alarm goes off. Ciara and Tripp finish dinner and he asks if she’s ready for Zombie Ninja, she has a better idea and pulls him into a kiss. Ciara starts remembering her rape and bolts, Tripp is confused.

Kayla Helps Tripp With Dinner

Days of Our Lives’ Kayla talks to Tripp about romance. Kayla assures Tripp she and Steve (Stephen Nichols) will always have time for him. Kayla cautions Tripp to be careful with Ciara. Tripp wants to know what Kayla means about being careful with Ciara. Tripp assures Kayla that he would never push Ciara into doing anything she isn’t ready for. Kayla gets a text from the hospital and leaves but gives Tripp instructions on the pie ad ice cream for dessert.

Eve Confronts Theresa Over Leaving Brady and Tate

Days of Our Lives’ Eve (Kassie DePaiva) wants to know what the hell is going on with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley). Theresa tells Eve she’s back to be with Brady and Tate. Eve goes off on Theresa who tries to explain about Mateo (Andoni Gracia). Brady tells Eve she needs to listen to Teresa. Eve doesn’t believe that Victor would help Theresa and makes fun of her story about Mateo. Theresa tells Eve and Brady that Xander (Paul Telfer) saved her because Mateo has another obsession. Theresa wants to know what Eve would have done in her position. Eve tells Theresa a lot has happened since she’s been going and shows her the engagement ring. Eve tells Theresa she sympathizes with what Theresa has been through but she and Brady are getting married. Theresa is thrown by the engagement, Brady and Eve can’t get married now because she’s back. Theresa wants Brady back, she tells Eve it is her turn to do the right thing. Brady tells Theresa she can’t just walk back in and expect things to be the same. Eve was there for Brady and Tate during the fallout. Brady and Eve tells Theresa her return doesn’t change the fact that they are in love with each other. A part of Brady will always love Theresa but Eve showed him he could love again, things have changed. Theresa did everything to fight her way back to Brady and Tate, is he willing to throw all of that away for Eve? Theresa goes to check on Tate and Eve wants to know what Brady is going to do. Brady is confused, Eve tells him to let her know when he decides and leaves.

Lani Has Another Pregnancy Scare

Days of Our Lives’ Eli (Lamon Archey) signed Lani (Sal Stowers) and himself up for Lamaze Classes. Lani doesn’t want Eli to be her birthing coach, he stresses her out. Eli tells Lani it could be his mom or his grandmother in the delivery room. Lani has a cramp and Eli wants her to sit down. Lani thinks she is bleeding, she goes to the hospital where Kayla tells her and Eli the baby is fine. Lani apologizes to Eli because she might have to have a c-section instead of him being her coach. Eli vows to be right by Lani’s side regardless of how the baby arrives.

Doug And Julie Discuss Ciara and Tripp

Days of Our Lives’ Doug (Bill Hayes) joins Julie and wants to know what is on her mind. Julie mentions her rapist and Doug wants to know why. Julie explains about Tripp and Ciara and how they might be ready to take the next step. Julie is worried about Ciara and Chase, and how rape is something you don’t just get over. Doug tells Julie he remembers that time and would have never left her side. Julie hopes Tripp is as patient and loving with Ciara as Doug has always been with her.
