Days of Our Lives RECAP Tuesday, July 3: Stefan Makes A Play For Abby, Chad Furious

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, July 3, 2018,  Abby (Marci Miller) and Gabi (Camille Banus) meet up in the park.

Stefan Questions Abby About Her Feelings

Gabi brings Abby Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher) toothbrush. Abby takes both samples and puts in her purse as Stefan walks up. Stefan backs away before walking up to Abby and Gabi to welcome her back. Stefan wants to know what Gabi is up to since she’s on his time.

Gabi wants to know why Stefan cares if she talks to her friend. Abby tells Stefan that she and Gabi are trying to repair their friendship. Abby says she will show Stefan what Gabi gave her. Abby and Gabi start to leave the park.

Abby decides she needs to talk to Stefan alone, they need to get a few things straight. Abby and Stefan talk about her therapy. Stefan wants to know what Abby remembers about how good they were together.

Stefan tries to tell Abby that Gabby is a part of her and he wants to know about her feelings for him. Gabi tells Stefan she remembers everything and its done. If Stefan loved Gabby he will back off her.

Marlena And Kayla Talk About Steve’s Sight

Days of Our Lives’ Marlena (Deidre Hall) shows up in Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) office with wedding dress photos. Marlena is thinking about an old fashion wedding. Kayla and Marlena discuss the wedding from 1986.

Marlena says at least they aren’t under Stefano’s (Joe Mascolo) threat. Kayla brings up Stefan and says he didn’t just take advantage of Abby. Kayla tells Marlena about the bionic eye. Marlena is much more excited than Kayla about the possibility.

Kayla tells Marlena this is complicated but she can’t tell her about it. Kayla makes Marlena promise to not even tell Steve (Stephen Nichols). Kayla tells Marlena about her deal with Stefan. Marlena wants to know if Steve would refuse the surgery if he knew it came from Stefan.

Kayla tells Marlena about doing a favor for Stefan in exchange for the eye. Marlena wants to know what the favor was Kayla doesn’t want to involve her. Kayla tells Marlena that Steve thinks Stefan sold the eye and she got it somewhere else and would refuse the surgery if he knew. Kayla tells Marlena she can’t tell her, they leave the door open for later.

Steve And John Talk Feelings and Weddings

Days Of Our Lives’ Steve and John (Drake Hogestyn) meet at the pub and talk about the bionic eye. Steve can’t imagine what Kayla had to do to make this happen. Steve tells John that Kayla has been low key since they got the news about the eye.

Steve knows that Kayla is hiding something, he hopes she’s just nervous. Steve proposes a toast to the Six Million Dollar Man and tells John maybe he will have his sight back for the wedding. Steve doesn’t want to see the same pain in Kayla’s eyes that he hears in her voice.

Steve wants to drink to John and Marlena and mentions their wedding date of August 22. Marlena tells John and Steve that she talked to Kayla about his news. Steve tells Marlena that Kayla may just be keeping her guard up.

Kate Fears She’s Been Caught

Days Of Our Lives’ Kate (Lauren Koslow) meets with Chad (Billy Flynn), she thinks Leo (Greg Rikaart) is up to something. Kate and Chad figure out that Leo might have double-crossed her. Chad and Kate talk about Victor (John Aniston) coming after them.

Paul (Christopher Sean) joins Kate and Chad and tells them that John’s discover might take care of this. Paul tells Chad and Kate what they found on Leo and that Will (Chandler Massey) has taken it to Sonny. Kate was afraid that Paul and John discovered the truth.

Kate wishes she had never gotten involved with Leo. Chad says he will make the settlement go through. Gabi joins Kate and Chad they encourage her. Gabi wants to talk to Kate, she heard what Stefan and Kate were talking about. Kate tries to tell Gabi to not worry about her and Stefan’s conversation.

Will Tells Sonny About His Memory

Days of Our Lives’ Leo is choking Will, Sonny (Freddie Smith) throws him into the mantle. Leo hits the floor, Will tells Sonny he is dead. Will starts to call the law, Sonny stops him. Will promises to tell the cops that Leo’s death was an accident.

Will brings up the proof, Sonny is afraid it will make things worse. Sonny tells Will they have to get rid of the body. Sonny is going through Leo’s pockets, he has to dispose of the body. Sonny wants Will to leave while he takes care of things. Will refuses to leave Sonny, he doesn’t like this but they are in it together.

Will tells Sonny they have to act fast, they start to roll Leo up in a rug when someone knocks on the door. Sonny and Will talk about someone coming in. Will tells Sonny about his memories. Paul goes by Will’s room and wonders what is keeping him.

Sonny starts questioning Will about his memories. Paul calls Will, Sonny tells him to ignore it, Paul can’t be involved. Sonny goes out to move Leo’s car and runs into Paul at the door.

Stefan Pushes Chad

Chad and Stefan meet up in the park. Stefan tells Chad that Abby just left. Stefan keeps trying to push Chad but he doesn’t let him.

Abby Needs Kayla’s Help

Abby shows up with the DNA samples and asks for Kayla’s help. Kayla tells her she will help in any way she can.
