Days of Our Lives RECAP Tuesday, August 21: Susan Banks Is Back

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, August 21, 2018 reveals, Will (Chandler Massey) is working on his computer. Paul (Christopher Sean) comes in talking about the bachelor party.

Will Gets A Surprise Visitor

Will tells Paul Ted (Gilles Marini) is gone for good. Will tells Paul he will pay Kate (Lauren Koslow) back every cent. Paul apologizes to Will again. Will tells Paul he loves him. Susan (Stacy Haiduk) shows up outside Will’s door. Will asks if Susan escaped. Susan shows Will her release papers. Susan wants to apologize.

Will ask where Roger (John Enos) is. Susan explains that Roger couldn’t come. Susan tells Will it was bad turning him into E.J. Will tells Susan he knows she loves him. Will sometimes misses the simple life. Will tells Susan he’s happy. Will tells Susan he has John’s (Drake Hogestyn) bachelor party. Susan wants to apologize to Marlena (Deidre Hall). Will tells Susan to wait.

Steve Still Wants Answers

Days of Our Lives’ Steve (Stephen Nichols) catches up with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Steve tells Kayla about finding Bonnie (Judy Evans). Kayla says she can’t talk now. Kayla has to get to Marlena’s party. Steve has to get to John’s. Kayla tells Steve they can talk later.

Marlena’s Party Gets Crashed

Days of Our Lives’ Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) is barking orders to everyone as they set up for Marlena’s party. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) is goading Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). Brady (Eric Martsolf) offers to take Eve home. Eve promises to be on her best behavior. Jennifer wants everyone to paint a bouquet of lilacs. Claire tells Marlena that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had an emergency.

Eve rants about Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) living at the loft. Belle (Martha Madison) has arrived for the party. Marlena and Belle discuss Sami (Alison Sweeney). Marlena thinks Sami isn’t there because of John. Belle wants to catch up with Claire. Eve wants to talk about Ben. Susan shows up at Marlena’s party. Susan sent the doll. Valerie (Vanessa Williams) wants to know who Susan is.

Susan thanks Marlena for helping her. Susan apologizes for kidnapping Will. Marlena understands and Susan hugs her. Susan wants to stay at the party. Susan is afraid Sami is there. Susan invites herself to the wedding. Susan wants to read tarot cards. Susan tells Kayla she’s keeping a secret from her husband. Susan pulls the death card for Claire.

The death card means rebirth or renewal. Marlena thanks everyone for coming. Belle asks Claire what Eve was talking about. Eve continues to threaten Jennifer. Susan does a reading for Marlena as well. Susan looks at the lover’s card again. It’s upside down. Susan tells Kayla this marriage is doomed.

Marlena Is Worried About The Wedding

Days of Our Lives’ John is helping Marlena get ready. John doesn’t want to spend the night apart. John tells Marlena nothing will go wrong tomorrow. Marlena gets a phone call. Carrie (Christie Clark) and Austin (Austin Peck) aren’t going to make the wedding. John tells Marlena bad luck isn’t a match for true love. John jokes about taking the Marlena doll with him. Marlena tells John not to drink Steve under the table.

Roman Gives John His Blessing

Days of Our Lives’ John and Roman (Josh Taylor) talk at the Pub. Roman says John is a good man. Roman is happy for John and Marlena. Will shows up at the party. Will tells John that Susan is back. Will tells John he told Susan to wait to approach Marlena.

John and Steve are playing darts. John exits to play ball with Paul. Roman wants to know what’s bothering Will. Will tells Roman about his conversation with Sonny. Will wonders about telling Paul what happened. Will doesn’t want to worry Paul. Roman questions if it’s really nothing.

Paul Blacks John’s Eye

Days of Our Lives’ Paul and John talk about the wedding. John tells Paul how worried Marlena is. Paul throws a baseball that hits John in the face. Everyone wants John to go to the doctor. John refuses and says Marlena will kill him.

Steve looks for black eye remedies for John. Marlena shows up at John’s suite. Marlena wants to say goodnight. Marlena wants to hold John for a while. John opens the door for Marlena. John has a patch over his eye. John and Marlena talk for a bit. Marlena believes everything will be ok now. John and Marlena kiss.
