Days Of Our Lives RECAP Thursday, July 26: Jennifer & Eric Declare Their Love

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, July 26, 2018 reveals, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) are getting ready to check his eye again.

Steve’s Sight Returns

Kayla removes the patch. Steve still doesn’t see anything. Kayla shines the light in his eyes but he still doesn’t see anything. Kayla tells Steve there is probably still swelling around the optic nerve. Steve tells Kayla to check the cabinet above the sink. Steve has a vase of yellow roses for Kayla. It’s been 30 years since Steve and Kayla’s first wedding.

Kayla gets a text from a nurse. Steve and Kayla talk about their first wedding. Steve begins to cry, his sight is back. Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) arrive at the hospital. Steve tells John and Marlena he can see. Steve and John hug several times. Kayla wants the engineer to check Steve out. Steve can’t get in touch with Adrienne (Judy Evans) and Tripp (Lucas Adams). Kayla puts the patch back on Steve’s bad eye. John and Marlena tell Kate about Steve’s sight. Ted introduces himself to Kate in front of John and Marlena.

Marlena Ask Eric To Give Her Away

Days of Our Lives’ Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) tells Eric (Greg Vaughan) that the caseworker was the one who planted the drugs. Jennifer tells Eric she is going to find the right person to blame. Marlena shows up and wants to ask a favor of Eric. Marlena wants Eric to walk her down the aisle. Eric says he would be honored. Eric doesn’t think Brady will agree to Marlena’s idea.

Eric and Marlena discuss his and Jennifer’s relationship. Marlena is going to see Steve. Eric tells Jennifer he loves her. Jennifer loves Eric too. Eric has a rose for Jennifer. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) tells Eric he is wasting a rose on Jennifer. Jennifer tells Brady (Eric Martsolf) who planted the drugs. Jennifer says someone who loves Brady is behind it and they can both guess who.

John Ask Brady To Help Eric

Days of Our Lives’ Brady is lying in bed looking at baseball tickets he got for Tate (Kyle and Colin Schroeder). Eve starts kissing Brady, he doesn’t respond. Eve gives Brady the phone and tells him to call Tate. Tate wants to go to a game when he comes back home. Brady tells Eve Tate is spending time with Shane. John shows up, Brady gives him the tickets for him and Paul.

John wants to go with Brady, he declines. John understands that Brady misses Tate. John tells Brady Tate will be back before he knows it. John tells Brady Tate will never forget those little things. John asks Brady for a favor. John tells Brady Marlena wants him to walk her down the aisle. Brady asks what about Eric? John tells Brady how much it would mean to them. Brady doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Brady finally agrees to walk Marlena down the aisle.

Kate And Ted Discuss Their Relationship

Days of Our Lives’ Kate (Lauren Koslow) wakes up and Ted (Gilles Marini) is gone. Ted comes back with a gift for Kate. Kate and Ted talk about Will and Ben again. Kate tells Ted he is loyal and stood by her. Kate doesn’t get the thing about Leo (Greg Rikaart). Ted tells Kate Leo’s disappearance is a blessing. Ted wants to take Kate to breakfast. Ted asks if they are limited to afternoon romps in their room. Ted tells Kate he would like to show her off. Kate suggests they fake the first meeting in a little while. Kate bumps into Paul (Christopher Sean), they discuss Will’s (Chandler Massey) memories.

Ted Taunts Sonny

Days of Our Lives’ Ted slips another note under Will’s door. Will and Paul are in bed together. Will tells Paul he is so happy to have him. Paul and Will talk about the story. Paul finds the letter on the floor. Will grabs the envelope out of Paul’s hand. Will thinks both he and Paul will feel better when this story is done. Will tells Paul he is a distraction and not to bring coffee back.

Will opens the letter, it asks if Paul knows. Will meets with Sonny (Freddy Smith) and shows him the letter. Ted joins Will and Sonny, he wants to talk. Sonny introduces Will and Ted. Ted insinuates Sonny made Leo disappear. Sonny tells Ted he’s sorry he missed out on his big payday. Will defends Sonny to Ted. Paul comes to the door and sees Will with Sonny.
