Days of Our Lives RECAP Thursday, August 2: Kate and Gabi Join Forces Against Stefan

Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, August 2, 2018 reveals, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) video chat with the family. Roman (Josh Taylor) brings drinks for the three of them. Steve toasts his amazing wife.

Steve Learns About Abby’s Baby

Roman’s gets called to the back. Steve toasts his and Kayla’s anniversary. Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is outside looking in. Stefan goes in to say hello to Steve and Kayla. Stefan congratulates Steve. Stefan says it seems there is nothing Dr. Johnson can’t or won’t do. Stefan tells Steve about his and Abby’s (Marci Miller) baby. Steve tells Stefan Abby and Chad (Billy Flynn) will never let him near the baby. Steve is mad because he didn’t protect Abby from Stefan. Steve hoped they wouldn’t have to deal with Stefan again.

Gabi Learns Of Kate And Stefan’s Connection

Days Of Our Lives’ Gabi (Camille Banus) sees Kate (Lauren Koslow) give Stefan the flash drive. Gabi asks what is going on between Kate and Stefan. Gabi knows Stefan has something on Kate and it concerns Chad. Gabi isn’t dropping it until Kate comes clean. Kate says she’s not working with Stefan. Gabi offers to help Kate. Kate says she will tell Gabi what Stefan is up to.

Kate tells Gabi that Stefan is blackmailing her. Kate doesn’t want to hurt Chad. Kate can’t come clean because it would hurt Chad. Gabi tells Kate she was there when Abby got the test results. Gabi says Abby brought this on herself. Kate wants to know if Gabi it out to punish Abby. Gabi admits to wanting to hurt Abby. Gabi tells Kate she’s set a plan in motion already. Gabi tells Kate that Abby’s baby is Chad’s, she changed the results. Gabi tells Kate how she changed the test results.

Kate tells Gabi the person she hurt was Chad. Gabi made sure Stefan stopped the abortion. Kate wonders if Gabi wants Chad back. Kate threatens to call Chad and tell him the truth. Gabi threatens to tell Chad what Kate is doing too. Gabi pushes Kate to agree to keep quiet. Gabi says one day Chad will have to leave Abby. Gabi has learned you have to look out for yourself. Gabi tells Kate they will take down Stefan. Gabi offers to get close to Stefan and help Kate. Kate agrees to the deal.

Chad Agrees To Try To Make His Marriage Work

Days of Our Lives’ Chad comes home to see Abby. Abby questions if Chad is staying. Abby tells Chad she understands why he left. Chad needed time to think. Chad tells Abby he’s not ok with her having Stefan’s child. Abby tells Chad that part of her chose to be with Stefan. Abby has to take responsibility for her alters actions. Abby tells Chad this baby is a part of her.

Abby tells Chad she cannot erase a part of her. Abby asks if Chad can live with that. Abby thinks her sanity depends on keeping this baby. Abby is asking a lot of Chad but she’s keeping this baby. Chad asks if she understands that is not his child, it’s Stefan’s. Abby hates Stefan and would give anything for this baby to be Chad’s. Chad tells Abby he can’t understand this. Chad tells Abby he will try, he promised to love her forever. Chad and Abby both hate this. Chad says they are a family and will be a family. Abby suggests therapy with Marlena to deal with this. Chad and Abby share I love and he cries in her arms.

Eve Wants Brady To Stop Investigating Victor

Days of Our Lives’ Eve (Kassie DiPaiva) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) talking about the drugs. Brady wants to know what Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) has found out. Eve tells Brady that Victor (John Aniston) only did this because Theresa (Jen Lilley) sued for sole custody. Brady says Victor wouldn’t have done this alone. Eve wants to know why Brady can’t let this go.

Brady doesn’t understand what Eve is all upset over him going after Victor. Brady wants to go to dinner, Eve agrees as long as they don’t talk about this anymore. Brady apologizes to Eve. Theresa calls to let Brady say goodnight to Tate. Eve wants to go back and order room service. Jennifer thinks about her conversations with Eve and Eric. Brady orders room service. Eve slips into something more comfortable. Brady calls Jennifer to get an update.

Jennifer Accepts Eric’s Proposal

Days of Our Lives’ Jennifer and Eric meet for dinner. Jennifer has something important to tell Eric. Jennifer tells Eric they need to talk about Nicole. Eric questions why Jennifer wants to talk about Nicole. Eric tells Jennifer he’s no longer in love with Nicole. Eric pulls out a box and shows Jennifer. Eric tells Jennifer he loves her and proposes. Jennifer asks Eric to sit down.

Jennifer thinks Eric is moving fast. Eric tells Jennifer that she makes him happy. Eric offers her space to think about things. Eric gives Jennifer the box, kisses her and leaves. Jennifer is still sitting at the table at Doug’s Place. Eve wants to know why Jennifer didn’t accept Eric’s proposal. Jennifer cannot accept Eric proposal without being honest. Eve warns Jennifer not to ruin her life too. Eric tells Roman about the proposal. Jennifer shows up and accepts.
