Days of Our Lives Recap October 31: Hattie Realizes She Doesn’t Want To Be Marlena Evans

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, October 31, 2018 reveals, Hattie (Deidre Hall) is having a bad dream and screaming for patients to get away. John (Drake Hogestyn) comes in, and Hattie tells him about the dream. John tells Hattie to get dressed; they are going.

Hope Questions Hattie About Kristen’s Murder

John wheels Hattie out and Eli (Lamon Archey) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) are waiting. John wheels Hattie up to Kristin’s (Stacy Haiduk) body with 666 across her forehead. Hope tells Hattie about years ago when Marlena (Deidre Hall) painted pentagrams on Kristen. John brought up her possession years ago. Hope tells Hattie not to leave town. John takes Hattie to see Abby (Marci Miller).

Hattie Hypnotizes Abby

John and Hattie are moving in the Dimera mansion. Stefan (Tyler Christopher) invites them in, and Abby is happy to see “Marlena.” Abby hopes Marlena can help her right now because she doesn’t believe she has split again. John leaves with Stefan for a cigar. Abby tells Hattie she needs help, she doesn’t think Stefan is the father. Abby is afraid one of her alters slept with someone else.

Abby keeps having dreams about making love to someone but can’t see his face. Abby wants Marlena to hypnotize her to see what she can remember. Abby offers to show Hattie how to hypnotize her. Hattie hypnotizes Abby, but she still can’t see the man’s face. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug (Bill Hayes) come in and interrupt the session. Julie makes Abby drink some strange mix.

Eli Gets A Shock

Eli shows up to question Abby about Kristen’s murder. Abby lets Eli into the secret room to investigate. Julie talks about things that have happened in the house before. Eli says stay where you are, and we hear popping noises. Eli says there was someone down there, but he blocked it out. Hattie hypnotizes Eli too. Eli cannot see who is in the corner at first. Julie says it’s Gabi (Camila Banus), Eli says it’s not. Hattie tells Julie she interrupted her and Abby. Later, we learn Eli saw Angelica (Judith Chapman).

Andre Is Abby’s Baby’s Father

Abby goes into labor and Hattie passes out. Julie has to deliver the baby. Hattie agrees that living Marlena’s life is no day at the beach. Hattie goes to look at the baby, and it has Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) face. Andre’ says that is because the baby looks like his daddy. Abby tells Andre she killed him he can’t be the father. Rolf (William Utay) says he brought Andre back to life. Andre doesn’t blame Abby for hitting him; he blames Hattie for sending Anna after him.

Gina Wants To Kill Marlena

Hope comes in, and Rolf turns her into Gina (Kristian Alfonso). Hattie decides to leave Rolf stops her the party hasn’t begun. John returns and Gina pulls a gun on Hattie. John tells Gina she doesn’t want to kill Marlena. Gina talks about waiting for John to rescue her.

Hattie asks where Gina’s self-esteem is and tells her she should love herself. Gina hands Hattie the gun and says she is the princess of power. Gina spies Stefan and questions who he is. She wants Stefan brought to her chambers. Abby tells Gina she can have him. Stefan says he is ok with Andre being the father of the baby. Doug tells Rolf that Andre wants him upstairs. John asks Doug and Julie to look after Hope.

Hattie Figures Out Anjelica Is Back

John and Hattie go to the Pub for a beer, someone looks in from outside. John tells Hattie the answer to her question is an anagram. Anjelica comes back as Satan to get Marlena. Eli is at the station, Kristen shows up. Susan (Stacy Haiduk) is dead, not Kristen. Abby is waiting for someone to bring back the baby. Everyone is taking pictures with the baby. Eli and Kristen come back to the mansion together. The baby looks different again. Angelica kills John so she can possess Marlena.

Hattie Demands A Divorce

Back at the hospital, Days of Our Lives’ Hattie wakes up and tells John she can’t be Marlena any more. Hattie demands a divorce but has Angelica’s eyes. John asks if Hattie is sure and she assures him she is. John is ecstatic at the thought of divorcing Hattie.
