Days of Our Lives RECAP October, 22: Nicole Dies In An Explosion; Sami Rescues E.J.

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recapfor Monday, October 22, 2018, reveals, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) got Holly’s water bottle and knocked out Xander (Paul Telfer) as he opens the warehouse door.

Nicole Trapped With No Way Out

Nicole gets the recording and goes into the warehouse to look for Xander. Nicole stands in the hallway yelling for Eric (Greg Vaughan). The building starts to collapse, and Nicole and Holly become trapped in the hallway. Sami (Alison Sweeney) releases Brady (Eric Martsolf) and looks for Nicole. Brady and Eric move boards out of the way and get Holly out. Brady takes Holly out of the building leaving Eric with Nicole.

Nicole tells Eric the fire is getting closer, Eric holds her hand and waits for help. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) tries to get Brady to leave, and he refuses. Brady is determined to get Holly to a safe place and go back in. Eric refuses to leave Nicole, Brady is forced to knock him out. Nicole holds her medal and prayer for Holly and Eric to be ok.

Eric Tries To Reason With Kristen

Days of Our Lives’ Eric tries to talk to Kristen about redemption. Eric asks Kristen to tell him what she is doing there. Kristen tells Eric they have precious cargo to transport. Eric asks if she’s talking about E.J. (ex-James Scott) she says among others. Brady drags Eric outside after knocking him out. Eric regains consciousness as the building explodes.

Sami Finds Rolf And The Mystery Patient

Days of Our Lives’ Sami locks Brady in a room and goes to search for E.J. Sami doesn’t trust Brady to help her and leaves him. Sami gets to Kristen and begins choking her. Xander comes in and pulls a gun. Sami makes it to E.J. but the building has partially collapsed, and there is a fire in the room. Rolf runs past Sami to escape; she finds E.J. on the floor. Sami gets E.J. in a wheelchair and wheels him out the door.

Mimi Reveals Details Of Her Hook-up With Rex

Days of Our Lives’ Mimi (Farrah Fath) tells Belle (Martha Madison) that Rex (Kyle Lowder) is the baby’s father. Mimi tells Belle what happened with her and Rex. Mimi and Belle talk about how things were in college with her and Rex. Mimi says their break up was her fault. Mimi was pregnant before and didn’t tell Rex before she had the abortion. Mimi still hurts over the baby. Belle asks how Mimi and Rex ended up back together.

Belle brings up that Mimi wasn’t supposed to be able to have kids. Mimi says it was a slim chance that she could get pregnant but she did. Mimi and Rex hooked up at a poker game. Rex doesn’t know about the baby. Mimi has no intention of telling Rex about the baby; she plans to disappear with the baby. Belle tells Mimi that this is not a good idea. Mimi begs for help from one mother to another; Belle agrees.

Rex Informs Roman Of His Engagement

Days of Our Lives’ Rex shows up at the pub and hugs Roman (Josh Taylor). Rex and Roman talk about his and Cassie’s existence. Cassie is afraid to come back to Salem. Rex has some big news for Roman. Rex tells Roman he is engaged. Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) comes in with the baby and Rex unwittingly holds his daughter. Lucas gets the baby back and tells Rex that Bonnie is the mother. Rex wants to know how Lucas ended up with a baby with Bonnie. Roman tells Lucas that Rex is engaged.

E.J. Causes The Lab Fire

Days of Our Lives’ Dr. Rolf (William Utay) has perfected the serum and gave E.J. and injection. Rolf tells E.J. Sami is there. E.J. grabs Rolf and accidentally starts a fire. There is an explosion in the lab, and another explosion starts caving in the walls. Kristen and Xander run leaving Sami to get Eric loose. Rolf gets to Kristen and tells her it is too late. Kristen isn’t afraid, and they zoom in on the Phoenix tattoo.
