Days of Our Lives Recap November 2: The DNA Results Are In As The Engagement Party Begins

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, November 2, 2018 reveals, Sami (Alison Sweeney) is still sitting with the mystery patient. Kate (Lauren Koslow) joins her and cannot believe she found E.J. (Ex-James Scott).

Sami And Kate Talk About E.J.

Sami tells Kate they are doing DNA right now. Kate asks Sami how she got the DNA sample. Sami tells Kate about the Marlena (Deidre Hall) doll. Sami tells Kate she’s not good at waiting. Kate wants to look at E.J.’s body. Kate tells Sami she would like to stay with her, but she has to get to Rex’s (Kyle Lowder) engagement party. Kate and Sami hug and she wishes her luck and leaves.

Sami goes to check on the DNA tests and questions what Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) is doing. Sami figures out that Chloe is doing another DNA test on the baby and warns her against hurting Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). Chloe tells Sami if Lucas gets hurt he won’t be doing it. Sami talks to E.J. about Johnny and how he looks out for his sisters. E.J. would be so proud of the man he’s becoming. Belle (Martha Madison) shows up, and Sami tells her she doesn’t’ need her sympathy. Belle tells Sami she is there and wants to help her. Sami needs E.J. to get better; Belle hugs her as she cries.

Chloe Begs Kayla For Help

Days of Our Lives’ Chloe asks about the DNA results. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) tells Chloe she doesn’t know why she’s so worried. Chloe tells Kayla she doesn’t think Lucas is the father or that Bonnie (Judy Evans) is the mother. Chloe tells Kayla that Mimi acts like the baby’s mother and Bonnie doesn’t. Kayla tells Chloe this test is unethical and she won’t do it. Chloe talks Kayla into finishing the test. Kayla comes in and brings Sami the DNA results.

Bonnie Dreams About Lucas

Days of Our Lives’ Bonnie is dreaming about Lucas, Mimi (Farrah Fath) comes in and asks what she’s doing. Mimi tells Bonnie that Chloe is suspicious. Mimi tells Bonnie that Belle shut down Chloe’s suspicions. Mimi tells Bonnie she is good at ruining her kid’s lives. Bonnie wants Mimi to go for some mother-daughter bonding. Mimi would rather be with her baby. Mimi ends up giving in to going out for steak.

Mimi and Bonnie run into Rex and Sarah. Rex introduces Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to Mimi and Bonnie, and she invites them to the party. Maggie and Kate hand out drinks and Maggie toasts Rex and Sarah. Everyone drinks to the toast. Rex toasts Sarah, the baby cries, and Lucas picks her up. Rex toasts Lucas and the baby. Chloe comes in with the new DNA test.

Lucas And Belle Have A Confrontation

Days of Our Lives’ Lucas runs into Belle and Shawn(Brandon Beemer), Shawn speaks to the baby. Lucas walks away from them, Belle stops Lucas and tells him this was a tough decision. Belle reminds Lucas that the judge almost always sides with the mother. Belle tries to talk Lucas into dropping the lawsuit. Belle didn’t want to upset Lucas. Lucas tells Belle he’s not going anywhere.

Lucas tells Belle that Bonnie isn’t fit for motherhood. Lucas tells Belle she needs to concentrate on her own family because Sami needs her. Lucas also asks if Belle apologized to Sami for accusing her of shooting Marlena. Belle tells Shawn she’s pretty sure that Bonnie is going to win. Belle tells Shawn she’s been a bad sister to Sami.

Sarah And Rex Discuss The Future

Days of Our Lives’ Sarah joins Rex, and they discuss the engagement party. Sarah says they could stay with Eric. Rex talks about how compassionate Sarah is. Rex tells Sarah they should focus on their happiness, those who love them would be fine with that. Sarah agrees that they should worry about enjoying themselves tonight. Sarah asks if her dress is too tight, Rex tells her Susan is a nut, and she doesn’t look pregnant.

Sarah Invites Mimi And Bonnie To The Party

Days of Our Lives Roman (Josh Taylor) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) talk about Rex and Sarah. Maggie can’t believe they had to go to Chicago to meet. Roman is going to try and get Rex to stay in Salem. Lucas arrives and helps Roman set up for the party. Roman spends some time with the baby.

Maggie and Kate talk about the party and Susan not crashing it. Sarah and Rex make it to the party and Rex tell Sarah that Mimi is his ex and that Bonnie is suing Lucas for the baby. Bonnie tells Mimi she didn’t want to upset Sarah by declining to attend. Bonnie tells Mimi that the baby will be there. Rex gives Mimi the baby’s sock and speaks to her.
