Days of Our Lives RECAP Monday, October 8: John Identifies The Shooter

Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) recap for Monday, October 8, 2018 reveals John (Drake Hogestyn) takes Sami (Alison Sweeney) to see Marlena (Deidre Hall). Sami tells Marlena about her encounter with Hattie (Deidre Hall). Sami’s theory is that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had someone standing by to shoot Marlena. Sami suggests that Marlena try self-hypnosis. John says he knows how to figure out who shot Marlena. John says there should be footage from the Horton Square cameras.

John heads downtown. Sami thanks John for saving Marlena again. Marlena tells Sami that to death do us part got a little closer this time. Sami tells Marlena that she and John are soulmates and she came back to him. Sami wants E.J. (James Scott) to come back to her too. Sami tells Marlena that she feels that E.J. is alive. Marlena tells Sami how she feels about the time she spent from her kids and makes Sami promise not to make the same mistakes. John sees the shooter on the video from the square.

Xander Interrupts Eric And Nicole

Days of Our Lives’ Eric (Greg Vaughan) gets to Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) room; she tells him to leave. Eric asks her to talk to him, or he’s going to wait until she does. Nicole and Eric talk back and forth through the door. Nicole says she doesn’t love Eric. Eric tells Nicole she is lying. Eric tells Nicole that he knows everything.

Nicole tells Eric he has wasted his time. Nicole agrees to give Eric five minutes. Eric asks how Holly is. Nicole says Holly is fine. Nicole wants to know what Eric wants and then wants him to leave. Eric tells Nicole everything he knows about Brady (Eric Martsolf) and his threats. Eric tells Nicole that Brady admitted what he did. Eric says what they have can never be destroyed.

Eric reminds Nicole what she said at the farmhouse. Nicole tells Eric it was just sex. Eric tells Nicole that she is his true love. Eric tells Nicole they are free to be together. Eric says they can have their future. Eric tells Nicole he loves her, she turns toward him. Eric begs Nicole to tell him she still loves him. Nicole tells Eric she has never stopped loving him. Nicole apologizes to Eric.

Eric tells Nicole this wasn’t her fault, Brady made her do this. Eric tells Nicole he never stopped loving her. Eric and Nicole kiss. Eric tells Nicole he has dreamed of this. Eric tells Nicole he’s not going to let her go again. Eric tells Nicole they have all the time in the world. Nicole tells Eric he has to leave now. Xander (Paul Telfer) shows up and tells Eric he is the problem with Nicole leaving.

Abe And Sheila Clash Again

Days of Our Lives’ Abe (James Reynolds) and Sheila (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) argue about his parking spot. Abe has had Sheila’s car towed away. Abe and Sheila continue to clash over her car. John shows up and needs Abe’s help. Sheila tells Abe that he owes Eli (Lamon Archey) for getting her car out of impound. Abe tells Sheila to get a job and gives her a list of openings. Sheila finds a job that interests her, but she has to apply to the mayor.

Chloe Tries To Warn Lucas

Days of Our Lives’ Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) are playing with Baby Bonnie. Lucas says this baby is a chance to get things right. Lucas and Chloe discuss Mimi (Farrah Fath) and Bonnie (Judy Evans). Chloe tells Lucas that the baby is Bonnie’s key to his bank account. Chloe tries to convince Lucas this is all about Bonnie. Lucas believes he can get custody of the baby. Chloe tries to explain the downfalls to Lucas. Lucas thanks Chloe for her help. Chloe tells Lucas that she when through this with Holly. Lucas says he is the only chance this baby has at a decent future. Chloe thinks the baby trusts Lucas already.

Mimi Agrees To Leave The Baby With Lucas

Days of Our Lives’ Mimi is berating Bonnie over the baby. Mimi is determined to get the baby back from Lucas. Bonnie tells Mimi this was her only choice. Bonnie begs Mimi for a little more time. Bonnie throws it in Mimi’s face that she when to prison for her. Mimi killed her father. Mimi tells Bonnie that Chloe will figure this out quickly. Mimi tells Bonnie that Lucas could try for custody of the baby. Mimi tells Bonnie she should have just stayed in prison. Bonnie threatens to turn Mimi into the cops for murder. The baby tested positive as Lucas’ because he’s related to the father. Mimi agrees to let Bonnie stay with Lucas for the night.
