Days of Our Lives RECAP Monday, October 1: Ciara And Tripp Make Love; John Marries Hattie As Roman Saves Marlena

Days Of Our Lives’ Monday October 1 recap begins with Ciara (Victoria Konefal) telling Tripp (Lucas Adams) she trusts him. Ciara tells Tripp she is ready to take the next step.

Ciara And Tripp Take The Next Step

Tripp is ready to take the next step but doesn’t want to pressure Ciara.  Tripp tells Ciara he doesn’t want her to feel like she owes him anything. Ciara says its like Tripp doesn’t trust his feelings for her.  Ciara assures him that it’s ok.

Ciara apologizes for making Tripp insecure. Ciara and Tripp kiss, she assures him this is about the two of them. Tripp and Ciara go to her room to make love. Ciara tells Tripp she thinks this is perfect.  Tripp and Ciara agree that neither of them feels alone anymore.  Tripp tells Ciara he loves her, she loves him too.

Hope Releases Ben At Rafe’s Urging

Days of Our Lives’  Rafe (Galen Gering) tells Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that Shawn (Brandon Beemer) found that the fingerprint was transferred to the can from another source to frame Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).  Hope argues that Shawn is wrong.  Rafe tells Hope that someone put that can there later, it’s obvious. Rafe assures Hope that he knows she didn’t plant the evidence but someone did.

Hope didn’t want to admit it, but she suspected it. Rafe tells Hope they need to find out who planted the evidence.  Hope says there is a lot of people who have it out for Ben.  Rafe and Hope agree that whoever did it caused more harm than good.  Rafe suggests they turn Ben loose immediately. Hope doesn’t want to let Ben go, Rafe tells her she needs to let him go because she knows the evidence is tainted. Hope releases Ben and tells Rafe.

Sami Tries To Make A Deal With Stefan

Days of Our Lives’  Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) argue over Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Sami keeps badgering Stefan for information. Stefan refuses to give Sami information.  Sami tells Stefan she is turning him in for helping Kristen.  Sami tells Stefan he is a chip off the old block.  Sami tells Stefan how E.J. (ex-James Scott) spent his life trying to live up to the family name.

Sami tells Stefan that E.J. loves his children and would want to be with them.  Sami pleads with Stefan to help reunite the family. Sami offers Stefan half of E.J.’s money if he helps her. Stefan tells Sami they aren’t rummaging for change.  Sami tells Stefan he could take credit for recovering the fortune. Stefan tells Sami that he doesn’t feel like making a deal.  Sami warns Stefan she is never letting this go.

Kristen Plans To Kill Marlena

Days of Our Lives’ Kristen has found Marlena (Deidre Hall) in her secret room.  Kristen tells Marlena if she wanted to even the score it would take a lifetime.  Kristen plans to kill Marlena. Kristen tells Marlena what she hates about her. Kristen blames Marlena for losing John (Drake Hogestyn) and Brady (Eric Martsolf), and she will have to pay.  Kristen tells Marlena until now they have been evenly matched.  Kristen says she is going to miss Marlena and isn’t ashamed to say it.

Kristen points a gun at Marlena, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) walks in and yells at her to stop. Kristen tries to get Kayla to leave. Kayla tries to talk Kristen down. Kayla threatens Kristen with hospital staff.  Roman sneaks up behind Kristen.  Kayla turns around to speak to Marlena as Roman (Josh Taylor) grabs Kristen. Roman and Kristen struggle, the gun discharges.

Hattie Tells John Kristen Was There

Days of Our Lives’ Abe (James Reynolds) pronounces John and Hattie (Deidre Hall) man and wife.  Hattie insists on a picture of their kiss.  John thanks Belle and Abe and tries to usher them out.  Hattie insists on having the champagne.  Belle toasts John and Hattie, to a lifetime of happiness.  Hattie makes sure Abe signs the marriage license.  Hattie covers her name, so Abe doesn’t see it.

Hattie has forced John to sign a license with her name on it. Abe starts to leave, and John stops him. Hattie stops John from following Abe out. John tells Belle that “Marlena” needs to rest.  Belle and John apologize to each other and hug.  Belle hugs Hattie and leaves. Hattie wants John to consummate the marriage.  Hattie tells John she will take him down with her if he tries to get out of the marriage.  John starts to see Marlena, Hattie tells him Kristen was there with a gun.
