Stefan says Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) are witnesses and nothing would make him happier than to send Chad to prison. Abby and Chad argue with Stefan, he says they can do whatever they want, no one can take away what he and Gabby (Marci Miller) had. Chad goads Stefan over Vivian (Louise Sorel) being cold and dead. Abby refuses to file charges against Stefan. Abby is mad that Chad didn’t tell her she slept with Stefan. Chad was trying to protect Abby, Marlena (Deidre Hall) told him to not overload her. Abby wanted to know when the right time would be to tell her, she doesn’t know how Chad could ever touch her again. Chad tells Abby that she cannot blame herself for what happened with Stefan. Abby relives what she said to Chad as Gabby, she questions how he can forgive her. Chad tells Abby because he loves her, that’s how. Chad promises they will find their way back, they always have and tells Abby he loves her. Abby and Chad talk about missing the mansion but home is where the heart is. Chad and Abby point out that Stefan is alone and unloved, just what he deserves.
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Paul (Christopher Sean) talk about Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Mateo (Andoni Gracia), they know he’s a drug lord. Paul tells Lucas building an opera around Chloe was a front, they know Mateo took her against her will. Lucas wants to go save Chloe immediately. Paul tells Lucas that even the ISA would have a hard time getting into Mateo’s fortress. Lucas knew Chloe couldn’t just leave him but hang on, help is on the way. Chloe is writing Lucas telling him she knows he won’t give up and she prays he will save her from this hell.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) is stunned to see Theresa (Jen Lilley) in the living room. Brady thinks he’s seeing things, Theresa tells him now, she has come home to him and Tate. Brady tells Theresa she deserted them, he wants her to leave and not come back. Theresa tries to explain, Brady wants to know why she didn’t come to him. Theresa tells Brady that Xander (Paul Telfer) saved her, and what she promised him. Brady doesn’t like that Theresa has seen Tate, she should have waited. Brady tells Theresa he saw her drugged out with that guy. Brady is furious when he finds out Victor and Shane knew yet Theresa didn’t tell him. Brady wants to know if Mateo is going to come after Theresa, she assures him he isn’t. Theresa knows about Brady and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) but they aren’t together anymore. Brady wants to know who told Theresa about him and Eve. Brady tries to tell Theresa that he is engaged to Eve, she doesn’t let him finish. Theresa loves Brady more than ever and pulls him into a kiss.
Eve and Xander talking in the park about Theresa. Xander tells Eve that Theresa owes him. Eve doesn’t care what happens to Theresa. Eric (Greg Vaughan) grabs Xander and threatens to take him to the police. Xander informs Eric that Victor got him out of trouble for kidnapping Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and shooting Brady. Eric wants Xander to leave town he refuses. Eric tells Xander no one wants him in Salem. Xander brings up Nicole and Eric tells him to shut up. Xander wants to know whatever happened to turn the other cheek. Xander says he is all about the payback and wants to know if he should give Nicole Eric’s love if he bumps into her.
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) wants to know if Xander hurt Eve. Eve shows Jennifer her engagement ring. Jennifer and Eve talks about Brady and Eric finding the right women. Eve feels guilty falling for a guy her sister loved. Jennifer and Eve talk about Chloe leaving Lucas, first, he loses Adrianne and then her.
Chloe ask Mateo about Theresa, “she wanted to find evidence against me to send to her daddy, she betrayed me so I killed her”. Chloe is upset over Theresa, she thought Mateo loved her. Chloe wants to know if that is how Mateo treats his lovers, he says you screw with me and you die. Mateo wants Chloe’s love, he wants to make her happen. Chloe wants to go home to her son, Mateo wants her to give him a chance, how about dinner. Chloe agrees to a walk in the garden, Mateo assures her there is nothing to fear.

Eric goes back to Jennifer in the park, he tells her Nicole leaving town was a blessing because he found her. Jennifer tells Eric about Brady and Eve. Eric is happy for Brady, Jennifer thinks he and Eve are headed straight for wedded bliss.
Paul runs into Xander and advises him to leave town. Xander loves everyone in Salem freaking out over what he will do next.
Eve walks in on Theresa and Brady kissing.
