Days of Our Lives RECAP Monday, June 25: Lani And Eli Name Their Baby

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Friday, June 22, 2018, Brady (Eric Martsolf) get the custody suit papers, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) can’t believe it. Brady swears he won’t let Theresa (Jen Lilley) get away with taking Tate (Colin and Kyle Schroeder). Brady is going to confront Theresa about Tate, Eve goes with him.

J.J. supports Theresa

Days of Our Lives’ Theresa tells J.J. (Casey Moss) that Brady threatened her over Tate, he wants to know if this is about revenge. Theresa just wants to be with her child, she doesn’t want to take him from Brady. J.J. tells Theresa Brady is not going to see it that way.

Theresa wants to know what is going on with J.J., he’s worried about Lani (Sal Stowers) and was hoping for a message from Eli (Lamon Archey). Theresa can’t imagine what Lani is going through, she wants to grab Tate and never let him go.

Brady and Eve show up at J.J.’s to see Theresa. Brady comes in threatening Theresa and she throws it back in his face that he did the same thing. Brady tells Theresa this is foolish, he wants this custody case dropped now.

Theresa doesn’t want Tate shuffled back and forth between them. Theresa wants to protect her rights as Tate’s mother. Eve tries to talk to Theresa and Brady says this makes her not a good mom. J.J. stand up for Theresa and tells Brady that Theresa made a mistake.

J.J tells Brady he needs to look in the mirror because he is just as much to blame. Brady tells J.J. he needs to stay out of this. J.J. throws Brady and Eve out, Theresa thanks him for standing up for her.

Abe Doesn’t Want Lani To See The Baby

Days of Our Lives’ Abe (James Reynolds) and Valerie (Vanessa Williams) discuss Lani having another baby someday. Valerie tells him he is a good father, caring and strong and that’s what Eli and Lani need right now.

Eli tells Valerie and Abe that Lani wants to see the baby. Abe doesn’t think Lani should see the baby, Valerie disagrees and goes to arrange it. Eli wants to see the baby too, he wants to be there for Lani.

Eli And Lani Name Their Son

Days of Our Lives’ Lani tells Eli she wants to see the baby, she needs to hold him once. Eli wants Lani to wait until she is stronger before she sees the baby. Lani begs Eli to help her see the baby, he agrees to try. Abe tells Lani that Valerie is going to bring the baby to her.

Lani tells Abe how you start to love a baby once it’s inside you, she blames herself for losing the baby. Abe tells Lani it’s not her fault at all, she keeps blaming herself and he tries to comfort her. Valerie arrives with the baby’s body and hands him to Eli.

Eli holds that baby before handing him to Lani who kisses him and talks about how little and beautiful he is. Lani tells the baby how much she loves him and sobs as Eli sits with her. Lani says the baby needs a name, Eli would be happy to give him his.

Lani was planning to name him David after Eli’s dad, they decide on David Abraham Grant. Lani thanks Eli for being there with her, he says he will be there always. Lani and Eli have a priest do last rights for the baby.

Gabi Gets Her Company Back

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi (Camille Banus) shows up to see Stefan (Tyler Christopher), Abby (Marci Miller) told her what he did. Gabi tells Stefan that she almost died in prison.

Gabi tells Stefan that he isn’t getting away with this, she tells him she planted evidence in her daughter’s bag and is going to the D.A. Stefan tells Gabi that his lawyers will tear Abby to pieces on the stand. Stefan tells Gabi that her being in prison was no big deal and throws a glass at him.

Gabi tells Stefan her daughter hates her for leaving her and that’s her fault. Stefan complains that Gabi could have injured him with that glass and cusses him out in Spanish. Stefan apologizes to Gabi and assures her Gabi will come around.

Gabi tells Stefan she doesn’t believe him, he wants to make it up to her and she demands her company back. Stefan can’t give Gabi that company back but invites her back to DiMera to run Gabi Chic. Stefan says he likes Gabi, she’s a smart and strong businesswoman with good instincts.

Stefan tells Gabi this arrangement will be mutually beneficial. Gabi agrees to take the job with a 25% increase from her previous salary, she tells Stefano’s picture that she will destroy Stefan from the inside.

Abby Learns About Chad’s New Job

Days of Our Lives’ Chad (Billy Flynn) is on the phone with Kate (Lauren Koslow), he assures her he won’t tell that she’s conspiring with Leo. There is a knock on the door, Chad thinks its Jennifer but it’s Abby, she professes her love for him and wants to know what has been going on since she’s been gone.

Chad is thrilled that Abby is home, they kiss but he flashes to her in bed with Stefan and pulls away. Abby questions if Chad is thinking about her with Stefan. Abby and Chad talk about the night she remembered she killed Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and how he couldn’t talk to her afterward.

Abby tells Chad they are integrated now and she remembers almost everything. Abby admires Stefano’s ring on Chad’s finger. Abby wants them to start over and find Jobs, Chad tells her he is the new CEO of Titan. Abby feels bad for Sonny but Victor made the right decision.

Abby tells Chad there’s nothing he can do to give Sonny his job back, he disagrees. Chad could have Titans legal team to get on the case. Abby wants to know if Chad has seen Gabi, he explains about Diane’s murder. Abby feels bad for Gabi and blames herself. Chad wants he and Abby to take Gabi to lunch. Abby figures out she may be
