Days of Our Lives RECAP Monday, July 23: Sonny Wants Titan Back, Victor Vows To Handle Murphy

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, July 23, 2018 reveals,  Paul (Christopher Sean) shows up while Will (Chandler Massey) is reading his note. Paul and Will talk about Leo not showing up for court. Will tells Paul that Sonny (Freddy Smith) would never do anything to Leo (Greg Rikaart).

Paul and Will Discuss Leo

Paul asks if not wanting him involved doesn’t seem strange. Paul tells Will that Sonny is a Kiriakis, maybe Sonny paid him off privately. Will disagrees, Sonny wanted to prove his innocence. Will points out that Sonny is not Victor (John Aniston) or Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). Paul tells Will how happy he is to be with him. Paul asks Will if he should mind his own business when it comes to Leo. Will tells Paul about his new memory. Paul is glad the serum is helping Will. Will feels like he has a history, Paul says he has a future too. Paul is cooking dinner for Will tonight. Will pulls the note out and puts it in his pocket. Will calls Sonny about the letter.

Sonny And Chad Clash Over Titan

Days of Our Lives’ Chad (Billy Flynn) and Sonny have words over Titan, decide to ask Victor what to do. Sonny wants back in as Titan’s CEO. Sonny disagrees with Chad using Titan to take down Stefan (Tyler Christopher). Chad points out that Leo could come back, Sonny disagrees. Sonny said Leo knows he would have to lie in court and won’t show back up. Victor is leaving Chad in charge for the foreseeable future. Sonny refuses to work under Chad. Sonny threatens to quit and move out. Victor warns Chad that he will fire him. Sonny and Chad talk things out. Chad goes home, Abby (Marci Miller) needs to tell him something important.

Gabi Rants To J.J.

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi (Camille Banus) is having a drink and reliving her talk with Stefan. Gabi says she was keeping Abby from aborting Chad’s baby. Abby has the real test results on her and talks about being treated wrong. J.J. (Casey Moss) walks up to Gabi. Gabi tells J.J. she probably can’t have more kids. Gabi goes on to tell J.J. about her problems with Ari (Sydney and Harper Udell). J.J. wants to know if Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is sure about Gabi’s diagnosis. J.J. tells Gabi that Ari will come around.

Gabi tells J.J. how hard it is to watch Abby pick up her life where she left off. J.J. tells Gabi that Abby has suffered too. Gabi says she and Abby are working to get past this. Gabi says Stefan needs to get what is coming to him. J.J. tells Gabi about the custody battle and the drugs. Gabi tells J.J. someone needs to talk to his supervisor. J.J. thanks Gabi for saving his life. Gabi leaves to walk home. Gabi stops in the park and burns the real test results.

Abby Decides To Keep The Baby

Days of Our Lives’ Abby is at the clinic, Stefan shows up. Stefan tells Abby he knows she’s pregnant and tells her Gabi told him. Abby doesn’t believe Gabi gave the test results to Stefan. Stefan demands his rights as a father, Abby says he has none. Stefan tells Abby the baby was created out of love. Abby tells Stefan he raped her. Stefan is begging Abby not to abort the baby.

Stefan asks Abby what ending the pregnancy will do to her. Stefan tells Abby she will never get well if she does this. Abby tells Stefan she knew who he was from the start. Stefan claims to have changed because of Gabby. Stefan tells Abby he fell in love with her. Stefan thinks part of her loves him and that baby. Stefan tells Abby that Gabby (Marci Miller) is a part of her. Stefan tells Abby it is her choice and asks her decision. Stefan goes home and pours himself a drink. Abby told him she is going to keep the baby.

Murphy Admits To Planting Drugs

Days of Our Lives’ The caseworker shows up at the pub to meet Jennifer. Jennifer tells the worker she knows he planted the drugs. Jennifer threatens to go to the caseworker’s supervisor or the police. The caseworker tells Jennifer about his son” accident. Jennifer doesn’t want to get him in trouble. Jennifer needs to know who hired him. The caseworker doesn’t know who he was working for. Jennifer wants the caseworker to go to J.J.’s supervisor. Jennifer calls J.J. to meet her and tells him about that caseworker. Victor gets a call that Jennifer is onto Murphy, the caseworker.
