Days of Our Lives Recap Monday, December 31: Eve Crashes The Party, Tears Into Everyone

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, December 31, 2018 reveals Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) asks Eric (Greg Vaughan) if he’s glad he came to the party and he agrees. Henry (Andre Khabbazi) asks Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) how she would be open to dating before she can answer the countdown til midnight happens.

Eve Tears Into Everyone

Eve (Kassie DePaiva) crashes the party, and everyone asks why she’s there. Eve starts on Brady (Eric Martsolf), Eric, and Jennifer. Eve brings up Eric hitting Daniel (ex-Shawn Christian). Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) tries to shut Eve up, and Sarah throws up Eve hitting her when she was a child. Eve says she didn’t come back to throw stones; she came back with a giant wrecking ball. Chloe tries to get Eve to leave the party.

Eve says she is just getting started. Eve says Chloe and Brady look chummy in that kiss. Eve suggests Chloe is unfair to Lucas (ex-Bryan Dattilo). Eve goes on to put Chloe down as well. Brady tries to get Eve to leave as well; she can’t believe Brady blames her for losing his son. Eve blames J.J.(Casey Moss) for siding with Theresa (ex-Jenn Lilley). Eve goes on to bring up Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Jennifer’s knowledge of it. Chloe tells Eve she should blame Xander and Kristen (ex-Stacy Haiduk) for what happened to Nicole.

Eve blames Jennifer for blowing her life up and says it’s time to blow up hers. Henry tells Eve to stop insulting his date. Eve hopes Jennifer is ready for what she has next. Eve says any minute now he will be walking through those doors. Eve says her guest is right on time. Eve says she has moved on too. J.J. wants to leave but Eve stops him, Eve tells Adrienne (Judy Evans) it’s her brother, just then Jack (Matthew Ashford) walks into the room.

Lani Wants To Move Forward

Days Of Our Lives’ Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) decide it’s best to leave the party. Eli bumps into a familiar face in the square and tells Lani he doesn’t know where he remembers the face from, but he’s seen it somewhere. Eli thinks he remembers seeing that guys picture before, Lani asks if it was a mug shot, he’s not sure. Eli wants to go dating with Lani.

Lani tells Eli they should have known there would be a lot of people there. Eli invites Lani to go back to his place. Lani asks about Sheila (Tione “T-Boz” Watkins); she has backstage passed to TLC. Eli and Lani toast to spending more time together. Lani pulls Eli into a kiss. Lani tells Eli her dress is cutting off her circulation and she can’t wait to get out of it. Eli thinks Lani means she wants to go home. Lani tells Eli no and says they have known each other a long time and she doesn’t want to wait any longer and asks if he does. Eli asks Lani again before proceeding to make love to her.

Jack Stuns The Crowd

Days Of Our Lives’ Someone is standing in the square looking at pictures of Jennifer. Jack walks in and says good evening to everyone. Jennifer says Jacks, and he looks puzzled. Everyone is stunned that Jack is alive. Jack knows Jennifer by name, and he gives her his entire name. Haley (Thia Megia) asks J.J. who this man is; he says it’s his father. Jennifer asks how it’s possible that Jack is alive.

Jennifer hugs him, but he does not react to her. It’s not just the accident that Jack doesn’t remember, he doesn’t remember any of them. Jack thought that seeing everyone would bring something back. Adrienne introduces herself and Justin (Wally Kurth) to Jack as well as J.J. Jack asks where Abby (Kate Mansi) is. Jennifer tells Jack about their grandchildren. Jack tells Jennifer that Eve is his whole world. Jennifer demands to know that Eve has done to Jack.

Jack Only knows What He Was Told About His Family

Days of Our Lives’ J.J. asks how Jack survived and Eve has no idea, she just found him weeks ago. Jack says he is overwhelmed and takes a drink. Brady can’t believe the Eve didn’t at least warn Jennifer. Brady tells Eve that Jack loves Jennifer and he won’t choose her over Jennifer.

Jack says none of this is working. Jennifer wants to take Jack home with her and let him see Abby, Jack jerks away and refuses to go anywhere with her. Eve has given Jack his book that he wrote and he read it. Jack talks about the war and PTSD. Jack throws Daniel up in Jack’s face. Eve is telling Jack about everything that has happened since Jack’s death as well.

Jennifer tells Jack how he took her under his wing and what he taught her. Jennifer tells Jack she has always loved him and deep inside he feels the same way, Jack says he doesn’t. Jack is staying at the Salem Inn with Eve, and she has turned him against his whole family. Eve leaves with an ominous Happy New Year.

Sarah Comforts Eric

Days of Our Lives’ Sarah and Eric leave the party, and she apologizes to Eric. Eric says Eve made some good points because Holly will find out one day that he killed her father. Sarah tells him she had no idea what he had been through before everything that happened with Nicole. Eric is glad for the friends he has made since them.

Jack Isn’t The Same

Days of Our Lives’ J.J. apologizes to Haley for what happened at the party. Henry got her home ok, and J.J. promises to make it up to her. J.J. hangs up, and he and Jennifer talk about Jack and how much he has changed.

Jack Is Ready To Leave

Days of Our Lives Jack and Eve go to the Salem Inn. Jack says he wasn’t ready for this, Eve disagrees and pours him a drink. Eve tells Jack he has been in Salem five minutes, who knows what can happen.
