Days of Our Lives RECAP May 2: John, Hope and Paul Perform a Dramatic Rescue

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, May 2, 2018, reveals Will (Chandler Massey) visits Gabi (Camila Banus) at the prison. Gabi feel’s better than she did yesterday. Gabi tells Will that Abby (Marci Miller) is out of her mind.

Will Tells Gabi About Leo

Gabi tells Will that Chad (Billy Flynn) believes Abby was brainwashed. Will offers to check for information with the police. Will cannot get any information about Abby. Gabi is frustrated, Will tells Gabi that he and Sonny (Freddy Smith) are doing everything they can to help Ari get through this. Will tells Gabi about Paul. Will wishes he remembered life with Sonny. Will tells Gabi about Leo (Greg Rikaart). Will thinks Leo is working with Vivian (Louise Sorel). Will tells Gabi she will be home with Ari very soon.

Gabby Is Determined To Stay In Control

Abby/Gabby (Marci Miller) talking to Stefan, she got him immunity. Abby is trying to fight her way out again. Gabby tells him what Dr. Laura (Marci Miller) has done. Abby sees Dr. Laura and asked who she is. Dr. Laura tells Abby she can depend on her. Gabby questions how Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is. Stefan tells Gabby that if Chad is close it could cause Abby to come out. Abby and Dr. Laura are still talking, Abby doesn’t understand what she needs to be protected from. Abby needs Dr. Laura to help her get out of there. Abby agrees to let Dr. Laura protect her and ask for a glass of water. Dr. Laura goes to get it, Abby’s personality takes over. Abby is trying to figure out why she’s at the police station. Abby hears Stefan on the phone. Stefan thinks he’s still talking to Gabby, Abby tells Stefan it’s Abigail. Abby throws down the phone when Stefan calls to Gabby.

Marlena Is Finally Revived

John (Drake Hogestyn), Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Paul (Christopher Sean) perform CPR to try and revive Marlena (Deidre Hall), Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Vivian. Vivian and Kate are revived quickly. John continues to work on Marlena, he refuses to let Paul take over. Marlena finally starts breathing. Paul comments that the ladies had party down there. Hope begins to question Marlena, Kate tells her Abby hit them both and Stefan put them in the tunnels. Vivian finds out that Stefan is in the hospital and that Chad beat Stefan. Hope tells Vivian that Chad caught Stefan in bed with Abby. Kate blames herself for Chad’s arrest. Hope tells Marlena about Gabby. John and Marlena talk about her disappearance and John finding her like he always does.

Kate Tell Paul To Continue His Investigation

Paul tells Kate about seeing Leo with Vivian. Paul tells Kate that Sonny dated Leo but broke it off. Kate wants to know what Leo looks like. Paul provides a description and Kate remembers seeing Leo with Vivian.

Leo Is A Good Liar

Leo is still trying to call Vivian, he leaves her a message. Leo goes to see Sonny, there is a problem at work. Sonny tells Leo about Gabi being hurt. Ari comes in on Leo and Sonny talking and wants to know what happened to Gabi. Leo gives Ari candy to calm her down. Sonny tells Leo that he’s a pretty good liar, Leo takes it as a compliment.

Vivian Visits Stefan In The Hospital

Vivian goes to see Stefan in the hospital. Vivian isn’t happy that Stefan locked her up. Stefan says he was just trying to buy time to get away with Gabby. Stefan professes love for Gabby and tells her Dr. Laura tried to kill her not Gabby.

Dr. Laura Takes Over

Hope gets called to the station where Abby runs into her arms after trying to call Chad for help. Marlena refuses to go to the hospital. Marlena wants to check on Abby. Marlena tells John that Abby is ill. Before Marlena can get there Dr. Laura takes over while Hope is talking to Abby.
