Days of Our Lives Recap Friday, September 7 Belle Finds Marlena’s DNR Papers

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, September 7, 2018 reveals,  Bonnie (Judy Evans) is waiting for someone to show up at the police station. Bonnie doesn’t want to get shipped back to Statesville. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) shows up wanting to talk to Bonnie. Maggie tells Bonnie she’s going back to Statesville where she belongs.

Maggie is there about Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and the hell Bonnie put him through. Bonnie is so sorry for what she did to Lucas. Bonnie asks Maggie to have Lucas come to see her. Bonnie is going crazy waiting for Mimi (Farrah Fath) to arrive. Lucas goes to see Bonnie and forgives her. Bonnie tells Lucas she needs his help. Lucas wonders how Bonnie thinks he would help her. Bonnie tells Lucas she’s the mother of his child.

Days of Our Lives’ Sonny (Freddie Smith) is asleep on the couch, Adrienne (Judy Evans) wakes him. Sonny gets a text that Paul (Christopher Sean) is out of surgery. Adrienne asks if something has changed between Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny. Sonny tells Adrienne they talked things out and Will loves him. Will wants to be with Sonny. Sonny tells Adrienne that the timing is terrible because of Paul. Adrienne understands because of Lucas and Justin (Wally Kurth).

Adrienne tells Sonny she wants Bonnie back in prison. Sonny tells Adrienne he should have known that Bonnie wasn’t her. Adrienne urges Sonny to go to the hospital. Sonny tells Adrienne that Will wants to do this on his own. Sonny is sure Will can break this to Paul easily. Adrienne offers to make breakfast for Sonny, he declines. Adrienne tells Sonny that Bonnie asked her help to break out of jail.

Days of Our Lives’ Lucas and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) show up at the hospital to check on Paul. Lucas tells Brady (Eric Martsolf) that things are great with Chloe. Will tells Lucas that he loves Paul but, and hesitates. Will starts telling Lucas things he remembers. Lucas asks Will if he remembers everything. Will tells Lucas he remembers and they hug. Lucas is so excited and wants to know when this happened. Will tells Lucas he has told Eric (Greg Vaughan), Brady, and Sonny.

Will tells Lucas he is in love with Sonny. Lucas figures out that he’s hesitant about seeing Paul. Will doesn’t know how to tell Paul this. Will asks Lucas if he’s obligated to stay with Paul. Lucas tells Will that honesty is the best. Will tells Lucas that he’s right. Lucas advises Will to follow his heart. Lucas feels bad about not realizing he was dealing with Bonnie. Maggie comes to the hospital and tells him she saw Bonnie. Maggie tells Lucas that Bonnie wants to apologize in person. Maggie advises Lucas against it, but he goes.

Days of Our Lives’ Belle (Martha Madison) and Brady are with Paul. Belle says Marlena (Deidre Hall) would want them to be with Paul. Brady leaves Belle with Paul. Belle is working on her legal papers. Belle stops to talk to Paul. Belle tells Paul that John (Drake Hogestyn) is proud of him. John would have been proud if he hadn’t gone out that window. Belle says Sami should be in that bed. Marlena is on a ventilator because of Marlena. Belle finds a legal document and says “oh my God.”

Will comes to check on Paul. Belle leaves to see Marlena. Will talks to Paul about how crazy generous he is. Paul regains consciousness. Will tells Paul he just had surgery. Paul wants to know if Sami (Alison Sweeney) is ok. Will tells Paul that Brady told him everything. Will squeezes Paul’s had but let’s go. Will tells Paul he saved his mother’s life. Will wants to let everyone know Paul is conscious, but he asks him to stay. Paul remembers that he loves Will.

Paul remembers Will needed to tell him something important. After Paul urges him to, Will admits his memory has returned. Paul realizes that is why Will left the wedding. Will wanted to tell Paul then, but Marlena got shot. Will told Paul there was no good time to break the news. Paul asks if Will remembers loving Sonny now. Will tells Paul he remembers his life with Sonny and loving him. Paul asks Will what this means for them.

Days of Our Lives’ John is in Marlena’s room begging her to make it. Eric tries to get John to get something to eat. John needs Marlena to wake up, and he doesn’t understand how this happened. John apologizes for snapping at Eric. Eric asks John if Valerie (Vanessa Williams) has been in this morning. John tells Eric there is no change. Eric says at least Marlena is still breathing.

John tells Eric the machine is doing the breathing. Eric says Marlena is still alive, and she needs to know they are there for her. John begs Marlena to wake up. John tells Eric he has been praying since Marlena’s injury. John wonders if God is listening. John tells Eric he thinks God may listen to him a little bit more. John and Eric pray together. Brady joins Eric and John in Marlena’s room. John can’t believe Marlena has been through so much and is now on a ventilator. Eric and Brady convince John to take a shower.

Eric stays with Marlena and begs her to come back. Belle joins Eric and asks if there are any changes. Eric tells Belle that Brady has talked John into getting cleaned up. Belle can’t believe Marlena as awake and talking yesterday. Belle asks Eric to check on the specialist. Belle has many things she wished they had discussed. Belle hopes there is still time. The specialist isn’t there yet, and Eric says they can do everything possible to keep her alive. Belle tells Eric they can’t let them do that and shows him the DNR papers.
