Days of Our Lives RECAP Friday, June 1: Marlena’s Bad News, Ciara Struggles

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Thursday, June 1st, 2018, reveals Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) come into the room where Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) are.

Brady Throws Theresa Out

Brady is glad Chloe is safe, she points at Theresa and says no thanks to her.   Eve tells Brady that Theresa left out that Chloe was at Mateo’s (Andoni Gracia). Brady wants Theresa to explain right here and now. Theresa tells Chloe she wanted to save her but Xander (Paul Telfer) refused. Chloe wants to know how Theresa couldn’t say anything.

Chloe asks if Theresa was the one who told Mateo that John (Drake Hogestyn) and Paul (Christopher Sean) were coming to save her. Brady knows Chloe is right. Theresa couldn’t let Mateo think she sent Paul and John. Chloe tells Brady she killed Mateo to save Paul. Theresa won’t apologize for wanting to come home. Brady asks Eve to give him a moment alone with Theresa. Eve wants to know how Theresa could have the nerve to guilt her into stepping aside.

Eve tells Theresa if she hurts Brady and Tate, she will answer to her. Brady doesn’t know who Theresa is, she gives him more of her story. Theresa tells Brady she is sorry for what happened to Chloe but she won’t apologize for being selfish and wanting to be home again. Brady wants Theresa out of the house, she says she will go, but she’s taking Tate.

Ciara Wants To Get Past Her Rape

Days of Our Lives’ Ciara (Victoria Konefal) tells Tripp (Lucas Adams) that they don’t want the same things and need to face that now. Ciara packs a bag to spend the night at her mom’s, Tripp begs her to stay and talk to him but she leaves. Ciara tells Hope (Kristian Alfonso) she and Tripp broke up. Hope doesn’t believe Ciara’s story

Ciara argues that this is about Bella, nothing else, Hope disagrees. Ciara tells Hope that Chase (Jonathan McClendon) is always there and she wants to know why she can’t make this monster go away. Hope tells Ciara that if she has real feelings for Tripp that monster will never have a chance. Hope advises Ciara to talk to Marlena because she really wants to be with Tripp.

Claire Kisses Tripp

Days of Our Lives’ Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) arrives back home, Theo (Terrell Louis Ransom Jr.) dumped her. Theo found out that Claire went behind his back and rigged the contest, Tripp says at least you know you broke up. Tripp and Claire talk about him and Ciara.

Claire, of course, uses it to call Ciara a selfish bitch. Tripp and Claire talk about their individual fights, she leans her head on Tripp. Claire says she deserves to be alone. Tripp disagrees, nobody deserves to be alone, Claire kisses him.

Will And Paul Seek Help With His Memory

Days of Our Lives’ Paul doesn’t want Will (Chandler Massey) to try and get his memory back. Paul tells Will that he doesn’t like the odds on this procedure, he might die. Will admits that he isn’t sure about getting his memory back. Will says he wants to remember because of his family and friends. Paul says if Will remembers, he will be the odd man out, Will tells Paul his connection is with him, not Sonny.

Will wants to see what the future hold for them, Paul wants that too. Will tells Paul it will mean a lot for him to support his decision. Will tells Paul he would be a fool to let him get away. Will vows that his past won’t change anything. Paul calls his contact at the university, he and Will leave to meet him.

Days of Our Lives’ Rafe (Galen Gering) is telling Hope what is going on with Gabi (Camille Banus), every time they get close to something else happens. Hope tells Rafe she has more bad news. Hope tells Rafe about Ben he is in disbelief. Rafe and Hope say Marlena (Deidre Hall) is their last hope in keeping Ben off the streets.

Ben Claims Sami Made Him Sane

Days of Our Lives’ Marlena goes to see Ben determine if he’s sane. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) tells Marlena he doesn’t want to hurt people anymore. Marlena wants to know when Ben started to understand the people he killed. Ben tells Marlena he understood when Sami (Alison Sweeney) came back 6 months ago. Ben talks about Sami making him choke Will.

Ben says Sami cured him. Marlena tells Ben getting well takes time Ben vows to do the work the rest of his life to make peace with what he has done. Ben tells Marlena she thinks this is an act. Marlena says she has dealt with Ben before, she points out that people in Salem don’t want him there. Marlena pulls out the picture of Ben’s victims to get his reaction.

Marlena wants to know what Ben would say to his victims. Ben says he can make amends with Will. When Ben sees Will, it gives him hope because he used to be a good person and wants to be again. Ben looks at Will’s picture and says thank god (as if he knows he has fooled Marlena). Marlena tells Hope that Ben is truly remorseful, she cannot file the objection.
