Days of Our Lives Recap Friday, August 3 Victor Is Busted, Ted Shows His Hand

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, August 3, 2018, reveals  Marlena (Deidre Hall) wakes up to John (Drake Hogestyn) serving her breakfast in bed. Marlena still hasn’t heard from Sami (Allison Sweeney).

John Wants Paul’s Help With His Vows

Marlena remembers something else she needs to take care of. John goes to Will’s (Chandler Massey) and asks if he’s heard from Sami. John wants Paul (Christopher Sean) to do a reading at the wedding. John and Paul discuss the wedding and his vows. John wants Paul to help with his wedding vows. Eric (Greg Vaughan) shows up to see Marlena, she wants to hear from Sami. Eric tells Marlena about her ploy worked, he and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are brothers again. John and Paul talk about finding Will in Memphis. Eric tells Marlena he and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) are engaged.

Sonny Gets Another Note Before Ted Approaches Him

Days of Our Lives’ Sonny (Freddie Smith) asks if Will has gotten any more notes. Will tells him no but the person sending them wants something. Paul shows up with breakfast and questions will about being at the pub with Sonny. Will lies and says he and Sonny were meeting about Ari (Sydney and Harper Udell). Sonny insists on paying for breakfast. Adrienne (Judy Evans) gets a phone call. Sonny opens the bill and finds another note. Will arrives as Adrienne is leaving. Sonny shows Will the new note. Will questions who is doing this. Will and Sonny decide to ask some questions. The waitress was no help to Will and Sonny. Will wants to go to the cops, Sonny refuses. Ted comes up and Will and Sonny ask what he wants.

Adrienne Wants Sonny To Confide In Her

Days of Our Lives’ Adrienne wonders why Sonny’s keeps texting. Adrienne tells Sonny she knows he’s hiding something. Sonny tells Adrienne he just has a lot on his mind. Sonny lies and says it’s about Ari. Adrienne asks if it’s about Leo (Greg Rikaart). Adrienne tells Sonny he used to tell her everything. Sonny tells Adrienne he needs to fight his own battles. Sonny doesn’t like how Chad (Billy Flynn) is running Titan. Adrienne wonders when Sonny became so cynical. Sonny wants to win back Victor’s trust.

Eve’s Errand Is Victor, Brady Catches Her There

Days of Our Lives’ Eve (Kassie DePaiva) leaves Brady a note, she had to run an errand. Eve is at Victor’s (John Aniston) telling him about threatening Jennifer. Victor tells Eve Jennifer will probably tell the truth anyway. Eve tells Victor that Eric proposed to Jennifer last night. Eve tells Victor they’ve got this, he wants to know who she’s trying to convince. Brady calls Eve and wants to meet for breakfast. Eve says Jennifer hasn’t said anything yet. Victor tells Eve this mess is her fault. Eve blew up Brady and Theresa’s relationship. Victor tells Eve Brady is open to all kinds of charges. Victor tells Brady he didn’t mean for this to happen. Victor says Jennifer told you what I did, did she tell you anything else. Brady asks what else he needs to know.

Jennifer Doesn’t Know What To Do With Her Secret

Days of Our Lives’ Jennifer checks her phone and gets Brady’s message. Eric and Jennifer talk about her work as a reporter. Jennifer tells Eric she’s no saint she makes mistakes too. Eric asks if Jennifer has found some big secret. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) show up and join Eric and Jennifer. Kayla notices Jennifer’s ring and congratulates her and Eric. Steve and Kayla ask when the wedding is. Jennifer tells them not until after John and Marlena’s.

Eric tells Steve he and Brady are walking Marlena down the aisle. Eric says everything that happened with Nicole is ancient history. Steve lets Brady know he can see. Brady congratulates Eric and Jennifer. Brady wants to talk to Jennifer now. Brady needs to know if Jennifer has proof that Victor cost him his son. Jennifer tells Brady that Victor was behind the drugs. Jennifer tries to tell Brady there is more but he storms out heading for Victor’s. Eric wants to know what Jennifer means there’s more. Jennifer tells Eric she only feels comfortable sharing this with Brady. Everyone hopes Brady can get his son back.

Jennifer tells everyone J.J. got his job back. Eric wants to know if Jennifer wants to go with him to see Marlena. Jennifer declines and stays at the pub. Steve has to take care of something for Adrienne and leaves Jennifer and Kayla. Kayla wants to talk wedding plans. Jennifer and Kayla talk about Abby and Stefan. Jennifer and Kayla talk more about things bothering her. Brady shows up and tells Eve and Victor Jennifer told him everything. Jennifer tells Kayla she has a situation that concerns her and Eric and don’t know what to do.
