Days Of Our Lives News: Billy Flynn Speaks Out About Daytime Emmy Snub

The 45th annual Daytime Emmy Awards released their official list of nominations on March 21, and Days of Our Lives fans were shocked when they did not see Billy Flynn’s name on the least for Lead Actor.  While his portrayal of Chad DiMera appeared to be overlooked, his co-star Marci Miller received a nomination for her scenes as Abigail.

Days of Our Lives fans took to social media to rally behind Billy Flynn after his apparent Emmy snub.  And, they made it pretty clear on Twitter that they were not happy about how the nominations had went down.

However, Billy doesn’t appear to be too upset about the snub at all.  The DOOL fan favorite actually took to Twitter to congratulate everyone who did receive a nomination.  And, he made it pretty clear that he thought the list of nominees was totally accurate.

First off huge congrats to ALL the nominees…especially my #days family. You’re all amazing!! Second, I honestly only ever imagined @JreynoldsJames name being called in my category. It’s the way it should have been. He was phenomenal!!! He deserves that Emmy…

And lastly…I love you all. But I wasn’t snubbed…or robbed. I definitely wasn’t…cause I’m not sure if you missed it or maybe you just didn’t hear them when they said @MarciMiller for lead actress!!! Sure they didn’t say Billy Flynn but today still sure as feels like a WIN!!!
