Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Stacy Haiduk Joins Salem Cast As Susan!

Days of Our Lives comings and goings indicate that Stacy Haiduk is joining the cast of the highly rated NBC soap.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Patty on The Young and the Restless, will be making her debut on Days as Susan Banks as early as next week. She will be in town just in time for John and Marlena’s wedding.

And from what we can tell already, fans can expect to see one explosive week. But then again what daytime television wedding isn’t full of drama?

Head writer Ron Carlivati previews Stacy’s character and how she will fit in next week. He told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “It’s such a fun character, and I had a very important story reason for her to be in town. She has a long history with John and Marlena. And even though she was pretty over-the-top and wielding shotguns and trying to kill everybody in Memphis, I have a soft spot for the character.”

But that’s not all. There might be another surprise waiting in the wings. Now, as far as whether or not we will see Kristen too, Ron says, “I have to say that it is very likely and possible that Kristen might make an appearance.”
