Coronation Street Spoilers: Richard Hillman Haunts Gail From Beyond The Grave

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that there might be someone even more sadistic than Pat Phelan coming to Weatherfield soon. Reports tease that Killer Richard Hillman (Brian Capron) might be finding his way back to the cobbles while also haunting Gail Platt (Helen Worth) from beyond the grave.

So far Weatherfield has seen plenty of murders in the last several months, courtesy of deranged builder Pat Phelan. (Connor McIntyre) He killed both Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford and Luke Britton (Dean Fagan). But now it looks like someone worse than Pat will be making a comeback.

As many Coronation Street fans can remember, Richard Hillman was responsible for quite a few murders himself between 2001 and 2003. And it was mostly because of his obsessions with his ex-wife, Gail. We all know that Richard, played by actor Brian Capron, drowned in a canal. New spoilers tease that Richard will be tormenting Gail from beyond the grave once again in a new storyline. It will all begin when she visits a clairvoyant called Rosemary (played by Harry Potter actress Sophie Thompson).

What’s more, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) will also bring in Gail for a reading with Rosemary. (Sophie Thompson) The medium well tell Audrey that she is receiving messages from her husband Alf. Yet, we soon find out it’s Gail’s ex-husband that has a lot to say through this median. Apparently, actor Brian Capron won’t be back in front of the cameras, but he will have a presence in upcoming episodes nonetheless.

One insider recently told Digital Spy, “Gail and Audrey are convinced she is getting messages from Alf and Gail’s husbands. It remains to be seen if she is all she claims to be.”
