Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Peter Barlow is about to start a hot and heavy affair with none other than Abi Franklin in the new year. As a matter of fact, actress Sally Carmen, who plays Abi on the hit ITV soap, says that their affair will be one that Weatherfield fans have never seen before. In other words, things are about to get pretty dramatic.

Apparently, the affair is all part of Peter’s midlife crisis. But don’t expert Peter to get emotionally invested in his relationship with Abi, as he apparently is just looking for a little fun and games – and that’s it.
