According to actor Ryan Clayton, who plays newcomer Josh on Coronation Street, things are about to get worse for David, knowing that his attacker is now a constant presence in Weatherfield. Josh drugged and assaulted David during a night out and now viewers will get to see how David will struggle to cope with the attack. His mental health will also deteriorate.
Ryan told Metro.co.uk in a new interview, “He’s not going anywhere soon – he is still training people on the street for the boxing event. And in order to protect himself, he will maybe turn his charms on one of the ladies on the street so he’s a dangerous person to be around, in a very manipulative way.”
The actor also added that Josh might soon turn very evil and manipulative quick. He added, “David has an awareness of what has happened, so when he tackles him, this guy isn’t going to just disappear, he’s going to hold his ground. The confidence that you see now, which is the affable cheeky chap then turns into the manipulation.”
