Coronation Street Spoilers: Lewis Back To His Old Ways, Audrey Devastated

In “Coronation Street,” Lewis Archer will reveal his true colors when he finds out that Audrey will receive a surprising windfall. She’ll be left in shock and utter disbelief when she finds out that her partner stole the £80,000 that she inherited from her friend Archie Shuttleworth.

Having been warned by Nick Tilsley and Gail Platt, Audrey will soon regret believing that Lewis had changed his ways after spending time in prison. Her family was right all this time that Lewis will turn on her once he gets a chance, especially if there is money involved. Nick even warned her to transfer the money to a different bank so Lewis won’t be able to get to it, but she didn’t listen.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Lewis Busted!

Gail returns to Milan for the festive season only to find Lewis flirting with another woman in a hotel. She tries to get evidence of Lewis cheating by taking a picture of the pair.

Not knowing that she forgot to switch her phone’s camera or perhaps because she was in a hurry to get a snap, she ended up taking a selfie instead. She only found out that she failed to get the right pictures when she was about to show it to her son Nick.

Gail tells Audrey that Lewis might be having an affair. Audrey confronts Lewis, who then tells her that he will explain over dinner in the Rovers. He arrives late with a lame excuse, which upsets Audrey.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Lewis Confronts Gail

Lewis confronts Gail as she watches the New Year’s fireworks. She feels horrified after Lewis tells her that he have enough of her interference. Gail fears that Lewis might leave. She felt a bit relieved when he calls in at the Salon. He talks to Audrey over the phone asking her to meet him at the Bistro for dinner and to explain everything.

It is clear that Audrey loves Lewis so much and even prepares for what she thought would be a romantic date. She heads to the Bistro and waits – for a very long time. As she waits for Lewis, who was already very late, Gail approaches and asks her to go home.

As soon as she gets home, Nick informs Audrey that he got an urgent call from his financial adviser. She calls back the adviser and faints after hearing the horrible news. When Audrey comes to, she tells everyone that they were right all along. Lewis stole all the money she got from Archie.
