Coronation Street Spoilers: Lewis Archer Set For Dramatic Exit

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that fans will soon have to say good-bye to yet another character by the end of the year. As a matter of fact, it’s been confirmed that one major character will be killed off before New Year’s Eve.

Earlier this year actor Jack P Shepard, who plays conman Lewis Archer in Weatherfield, teased that his character would be making quite a dramatic exit. And it looks like he wasn’t kidding, as new reports say that a huge tragedy will kick off some major scenes for the Platt family.

Right now, Audrey Roberts is under the impression that Lewis isn’t the man that he used to be. Yet, little does she know that Lewis is actually still the same con artist that he used to be. Sure, he gave his stolen money back to Gail before telling Audrey that she was the love of his life. But at the same time, he’s not acting as genuine as he wants everyone to believe.

Even longtime viewers know that Audrey is making a huge mistake by trusting Lewis again. After all, they’ve been down this road so many times in the past. And now it looks like she might get the shock of her life as Lewis might indeed get killed off sooner rather than later.

One source close to the situation said, “‘The intense plot will play out over the New Year. Nigel always knew he wouldn’t last long on the Cobbles when he signed up to return and what a way to make an exit.”
