Coronation Street Spoilers: Bethany Downward Spiral – Loses Her Job And Her Boyfriend

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Bethany Platt’s (Lucy Fallon) life is headed towards a downward spiral. That’s because she’s not only lost her job as a lap dancer, but it looks like her relationship with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) is over, too.

Craig has made it no secret that he is not a fan of Bethany’s lap dancing. What’s more, he thinks it’s degrading and has reminded her that it’s illegal. But for Bethany, she doesn’t see it this same way. She thinks that by being a lap dancer, she’s gaining back control of her life and her body by telling men that they can look but they certainly can’t touch.

Apparently, Bethany loses her job after Craig’s boss intervenes. Bethany thinks that it’s Craig who blew the whistle on her. Craig is absolutely devastated with the news because he didn’t want it to turn out this way.

When Craig gets back home, his OCD kicks into high gear. He begins flipping switches throughout his apartment and opening up his kitchen cabinets. As a result, he forgets about his scheduled date with Bethany.

Meanwhile Maria’s (Samia Longchambon) son, Liam (Alex Warner) discovers his behavior while Bethany is convinced that her boyfriend stood her up. Craig calls to apologize but it’s too little too late. Clearly, they both have been dealing with a very stressful situation. Time will only tell is Bethany will forgive Craig and if their relationship will be back on the mend. For now though, it looks like Bethany is utterly upset over losing her job.
