Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Carla Connor has no choice but to face the music, especially when it comes to her health and her future. She’s also forced to tell her family the truth about her illness.

Spoilers tease that Carla’s family will gather near her hospital bedside after she unexpectedly collapses at the Rovers. At first, her ex-husband Peter Barlow just assumed that she was drunk. But she hasn’t touched any booze for weeks now. That prompted a lot of her friends to wonder if she might be secretly pregnant. She’s been drinking nothing but fruit juice and sparkling wine. If that weren’t enough, she hasn’t been acting herself ever since she returned to Weatherfield.

Little does anyone know though that Carla is seriously ill and that her days might be numbered. Carla will be forced to tell everyone the secret she was hiding at the hospital. As a matter of fact, Carla’s father Johnny Connor is both shocked and upset that he has been kept in the dark about her problems with her kidney. The only person who knew the truth about Carla’s health battle is her friend Roy Cropper after the two had a heart-to-heart during Christmas.

Even though she’s been hiding her problems from her family, she can now count on her loved ones to be by her side. Her brother Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) has even announced that he plans to donate his kidney to his sister.
