Breaking:Y&R Hunter King Replaced as Summer Newman – Bayley Corman Temporarily Takes Role

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) news reveals Hunter King who portrays the sassy troublemaker, Summer Newman is temporarily being replaced by Bayley Corman starting Monday, October 1, 2018! TV Insider was the first to report that Hunter will be off taping episodes of the CBS primetime series ‘Life in Pieces where she has portrayed character Clementine since 2015.

Y&R sources tease that Summer is embroiled in a heavy storyline, while she continues to fall for her mother, Phyllis Summers’ (Gina Tognoni) lover, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and will do just about anything to get him; including destroying everyone’s relationships and happiness just to get what she wants. Summer truly is turning out to be her mother’s daughter!

Fans of The Young and the Restless who may not be familiar with actress Bayley Jane Corman, she is not new to television, especially primetime series as she has been in several shows including Modern Family, Jane the Virgin (Marissa), 2 Broke Girls (Tess), Faking It (Stevie) and Zeke and Luther (Allie).

As Soap Opera Digest reported, Hunter King will be gone for three episodes only, it just seems a bit surprising to Y&R viewers that the actress would be taking a leave so quickly again, after her character, Summer came back to Genoa City like a hurricane only back in June 2018, when she returned only to get arrested for stealing her boyfriend’s car.

The Young and the Restless spoilers want to know how you feel about Summer and her out of control behavior – Will things ever get better between Summer and Phyllis, or has Summer gone too far with her obsession over Billy; either way things are not looking good for anyone standing in the way of what Summer desires!
