Bill wants to get back together with Brooke and he tries his best to win her back. He would do everything for her, including keeping his silence about what Taylor did to him. Will Brooke remain faithful to Ridge or will Bill’s sweet words lead Brooke back to his arms?
Meanwhile, Maya returns from Europe and she brings with her some bad news. She shocks the Forrester family by telling them that she and Rick have split up. Viewers may remember that the couple have been through a lot.
Rick knew about Maya’s transition from male to female for months before their wedding day. Rick loved her and they had a daughter Lizzy, whose surrogate mother was Maya’s sister, Nicole Avant [Reign Edwards].

Jacob Young, who plays Rick, took to Twitter to express how he felt about his character’s breakup with Maya. “I for one am incredibly sad and disappointed” over the breakup of the “history-making couple.” He described their relationship as a “love that would never die.” He added that he loved working with Karla Mosley, who plays Maya, and that their storyline “has been the highlight of my 21 year career in daytime.”
Avid fans of Bold and The Beautiful may have noticed that Young now has less screen time. It’s been months since he last reappeared on the soap. It would seem that viewers won’t be seeing him anytime soon either.
In a teaser for the soap’s Christmas Eve episode, fans will notice that Maya is with her family but Rick is nowhere to be found. Now, Rick’s absence has been clarified.
Nonetheless, spoilers tease to watch out for Rick’s return and how he is going to reclaim his life.
