Bold and the Beautiful News: Ronn Moss Settles Lawsuit, Issues Statement

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) alum Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge Forrester) announced that he settled his lawsuit with Beckett. Moss was the original Ridge actor and left the role to pursue a career as a singer/musician. He found fame as a member of the rock band, Player, known for the hit single Baby Come Back.

Moss left the CBS soap opera in 2012 after 25 years in the iconic role. Many soap opera fans still miss Moss as Ridge, stating that he and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Hunter Tylo (Taylor) has much better chemistry than the new ridge, Thorsten Kaye.

It really is a moot point because Ronn has no desire to return to the Bold and the Beautiful and he is happy with his career in music.

Bold And Beautiful News: Ronn Moss Trademark Lawsuit

Sometime after 2012, Beckett and Moss went their separate ways. However, they filed a lawsuit to determine who owned the rights to the band’s name. Finally, after years of ligation, they settled the lawsuit—the band’s name belongs to both of them and they have equal rights to it.

The announcement read,” So as to avoid any potential fan confusion, Beckett and Moss have agreed to add their own name in front of the Player mark…i.e. Peter Beckett’s Player and Ronn Moss’ Player. Beckett and Moss each wish the other nothing but success going forward.”
