The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Devon Notices Hilary’s Progress – GC Buzz Streams Positive

Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) are moving closer to each other on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Having ended their first marriage amicably and in remaining in close contact since, ‘Hevon’ fans are right to wonder when (not if) this couple will get back together.

The former Mrs. Hamilton’s efforts to improve herself are genuine. GC Buzz has begun to stream positive, which is the digital direction Devon has long encouraged. That’s an encouraging reflection of the interworkings of Hilary’s mind.

As Y&R viewers recall, Devon purchased the website during the time he was married to Hilary. He felt his then-wife’s energy and talent could be channeled (a wink to old-school television which still exists as on-screen video) in a positive manner.

Hilary’s backstory in Genoa City is complicated. She arrived with vengeance on her mind, believing that Neil (Kristoff St. John) was responsible for her mother’s death. He wasn’t, she later married him and then Devon caught her eye.

‘Hevon’ Part I was quite the limited-run series. Constant tension, upheaval and mayhem were always in order. Hilary was responsible for almost all of that drama. As Genoa City fans recall, Devon did crash an expensive sports car on one occasion.

Everyone who has been involved in a loving relationship, as ‘Hevon’s’ was at its heart, knows that the best parts of the other person can, ideally, be accentuated. Such was the case in this instance.

There were moments where Hilary gave up her grudge, flicked all those chips off her shoulder and simply felt good. That same allure is sure to draw her to Devon again in 2018. And, it’s correct to state that Hilary can make Devon better as well.

For his part, Devon knows that Hilary was and remains the love of his life. Much, if not all of her behavior involved understandable early life issues. Underneath it all Hilary is a good person, as ‘Hevon’ fans know. She also truly loves Devon, which is what matters most.

Here’s hoping that executive producer and head writer is writing this charismatic couple back together. Yes, redemption is always appealing.
