Gina Tognoni was born on November 28, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri. Gina is no stranger to the daytime soaps.
She played Kelly Kramer on “One life to Live” then went on to play Dinah Marler on “Guiding Light.” She currently is portraying the part of Phyllis Summers on “The Young and the Restless.”
She came on as a recast in 2014 and fans were all skeptical at first whether or not she could fill the shoes of Michelle Stafford, but she came on and made the part hers and is totally killing it.
She even won The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series this year! So she’s doing something right! Do you fans agree? It wasn’t the first time she had won a Daytime Emmy Award.

Gina Tognoni is one phenomenal actress. She can definitely make you feel what she is feeling when she digs deep into those emotional scenes on the show and can have you laughing the next minute. She is awesome at what she does. She was born to be an actress. Some fans absolutely love her and there is some who love to hate her character, that just means she is doing her job well.
Here’s a little fun fact about Gina Tognoni, she won Miss Rhode Island Teen USA in 1991 and Miss Rhode Island Teen All-American in 1993. This comes as no surprise given how gorgeous she is. She is an all natural beauty and her spunky attitude you can’t help but love. She brings life to the show and you can always expect to see good scenes with her.
