The Young and the Restless’ Melissa Egan has been chosen to be this week’s Woman Crush Wednesday! There is no denying just how gorgeous she is!
Melissa Claire Egan was born on September 28, 1981 in Pound Ridge, New York. She is best known for her roles as Annie Lavery on “All My Children,” and her current role as Chelsea Newman on “The Young and the Restless.” Coincidentally, “All My Children” was one of Melissa’s first acting gigs at the age of 12 playing an extra.

Melissa Egan graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BA in dramatic Art. So I think it’s safe to say that Melissa was over the moon when the North Carolina Tarheels won the Men’s basketball NCAA National Championship.
Egan joined “The Young and the Restless” in November of 2011 as a mystery woman who was involved with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She came on the show as a con artist that had fans not really sure if they liked her, but over the years she has surely won everyone’s heart with her candid personality and her undying love for Adam Newman (Justin Hartley).
You may even remember seeing Melissa Egan serving as a celebrity spokesperson for Proactive Solution with her best friend and former co-star Chrishell Stause. She has also guest starred on such television shows as Criminal Minds, Dawson’s Creek and One Tree Hill. Her first film role was in the 2005 movie “Wrestling” as Ali Court.
