This is Us Spoilers: Chrissy Metz Determined To Slim Down Before Season 2?

It looks like Chrissy Metz is determined to slim down before filming of ‘This is Us’ Season 2 begins. In fact, there’s a new report that says Chrissy is currently focused on meeting her weight loss goals by eating balanced meals and healthy snacks and sticking to a new workout plan.

Many ‘This is Us’ spoilers indicate that Chrissy’s character Kate Pearson will reveal her new, slimmer body for season 2 of the hit NBC dramedy. That’s because she’s tired of holding on to all of her excess weight – both physically and emotionally.

During the Season 1 finale of ‘This is Us,’ Kate made it clear that she is looking forward to making a lot of changes in her life. After all, she’s looking forward to finally tying the knot to her on-again, off-again love, Toby Sullivan and is even considering a new career change. She wants to pursue a career in singing, just like her mother Rebecca once did. And with her new outlook and attitude in life, she’s also ready for a new body, too.

Of course, if Chrissy Metz is planning to lose her weight before production of ‘This is Us’ Season 2 begins, she has a very short window of time to do so. ‘This is Us’ Season 2 returns to NBC this fall, which means Chrissy only has a few short months. Chrissy will have to change her entire lifestyle in a very short amount of time to make this happen.

There were even earlier reports indicating that Chrissy was considering bypass surgery but at this point it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Instead, she’s going to have to work hard and stay committed to her daily diet in order to shed the excess pounds.

Chrissy will also have to stay out of the spotlight for the next several months if she is indeed losing weight. The last thing producers would want to see is Chrissy revealing any Season 2 spoilers before filming even begins. In fact, producers will want to keep Chrissy’s weight loss under wraps until their ready to reveal her character Kate Pearson’s transformation on the show. Do you agree?
