This is Us Season 2 Spoilers: Randall Changes His Mind on Adoption Plans?

This is Us Season 2 spoilers indicate that Randall might not go through with his family’s adoption plans after all. The October 3 episode, called ‘A Manny Splendored Thing’ sees Randall and his wife getting ready for their trip to Los Angeles. They are headed to the West Coast to see Randall’s brother Kevin perform during a very special taping of his sitcom The Manny. But unfortunately, they haven’t even left their house yet when Beth begins quizzing Randall about the couple’s adoption paperwork.

Beth Concerned About Randall

Beth wants to know whe he hasn’t filled out any of the forms and is afraid that they won’t make their deadline. Beth couldn’t help but notice that Randall, who is by far the Pearson family’s resident perfectionist, hasn’t filled out his paperwork in order to get a jump start on the adoption process.

Randall Stalls

As many This is Us fans know, Randall was adopted by his parents Jack and Rebecca Pearson as a newborn while he was still in the hospital. And at this point, both Randall and Beth have made it pretty clear that they want to help a child in need by becoming foster parents themselves. And if there’s one thing that Randall never misses, it’s an important deadline. Yet Randall tells his wife that he doesn’t like that the questions are so comprehensive and worse, too personal.

Does Randall Have Second Thoughts?

Clearly, Randall is having second thoughts. There’s also a strong possibility that Beth might find out before the couple return from their L.A. trip.
