This is Us Season 2 Spoilers: Kevin Pearson Gets Girlfriend Sophie Pregnant?

This is Us Season 2 spoilers reveal that Kevin Pearson’s (Justin Hartley) future plans might get derailed once again. There have been reports indicating that his girlfriend Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge) might be pregnant with their first child.

A Pregnancy For Sophie?

Of course, a pregnancy for Sophie would make sense since actress Alexandra Breckenridge is currently pregnant with her second child. And when showunner Isaac Aptaker was pressed to confirm an on-screen pregnancy for this season, he simply said, “I don’t want to talk about that.” Of course, his comments have done nothing more than add fuel to the pregnancy rumors.

A Lifestyle Change For Kevin

For Kevin Pearson though, this means that he’ll be forced to make a lot of lifestyle changes if his girlfriend is in fact pregnant. He will have to think about his pregnant girlfriend and their future family before anything else, including his Hollywood career and aspirations. According to Deadline, Justin Hartley said of his character, “I think he’s getting the tools to become a man. He was kind of a man child when we found him, but now he’s getting closer to what his father wanted him to be, which is great.”

With so many things going on at once for the Pearson family, fans are left with even more questions now than ever before. So far show producers have only confirmed that Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) will indeed die before this season’s finale. And while there have been plenty of fan theories floating around as far as how Jack will die, both Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley have said that they are all wrong. Fans will just have to tune in to see what will happen next!
