This is Us Season 2 episode 6 “THE 20’S” spoilers show that we get to see the three Pearson children like we’ve never seen them before: in their twenties. Kevin is just getting to dip his toes in the entertainment business with his sister Kate as his manager while their brother Randall starts a new chapter in his life.
It all begins with Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) toasting to the year ahead and Kevin proclaiming that the next several years or going to be the best ones of their lives. According to Kevin, they are in their prime. He’s exactly where he wants to be, with a new sitcom in his life and Hollywood at his fingertips. And the best part is that he has his sister Kate by his side as his manager.

Yet, it wasn’t always this easy for them. We see Kevin working at a hair salon and Kate struggling to make ends meet by working part-time shifts as a waitress. What’s more, we also get a glimpse of Kate’s mystery boyfriend, who just happens to be someone that she’s never talked about before. Kate seems very surprised to see him when he unexpectedly shows up at the diner.
Plus, there’s also Randall (Sterling K. Brown). One flashback shows Randall and Beth a few days before she gave birth to the couple’s first child. Randall thinks that he won’t be a good father and even has a panic attack moments before Beth goes into labor.

This is Us Season 2 episode 6 airs Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 9 pm EST on the NBC network. The show also stars Milo Ventimiglia as Pearson family patriarch Jack and Mandy Moore as his wife Rebecca.
