>This is Us star Chrissy Metz is revealing her dream guest stars for the hit NBC dramedy. Chrissy stars as Kate Pearson, a woman who is trying to find a balance between her personal life and her singing career, while also coming to terms with her father Jack’s death.
So far this season Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has appeared as himself on the show. And according to Chrissy, she would love to see more A-list guest stars appear in future episodes. As a matter of fact, she’s got some big names on her wish list.
“I’m obsessed with Allison Janney. Can she be [my fiancé] Toby’s mom?” Chrissy suggested to Life & Style at the Rape Foundation’s Annual Brunch in Beverly Hills.
Chrissy also said that she would love to see Barbra Streisand on the show, adding that she would be tons of fun, even though the idea is a little farfetched.
This is Us spoilers indicate that Chrissy’s life is about to be turned upside down with her surprise pregnancy. She just shared the news with her shocked fiancé, Toby. But she’s not the only member of the Pearson family going through a tumultuous time. Her brother Kevin’s prescription painkillers addiction has been exposed while her other brother Randall has been unsuccessful at bonding with his new foster daughter.
So far there are no new guest stars lined up for Season 2, although fans know that anything can still happen. There’s still a chance that Alison Janney and Barbra Streisand might show up on the set and ready to film! The highly rated series airs every Tuesday at 9 pm EST on the NBC network. The show also stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown and more.
