This is Us Cast Members Score Big Bonuses Before Season 2

There’s no doubt that the cast of NBC’s hit dramedy This is Us are raking in some serious dough right now. There are new reports that say the all-star cast, which includes Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley and Sterling K. Brown have just earned $250,000 bonuses from NBC and 20^th Century Fox TV.

Those bonus checks are definitely well-earned and that’s because the show has helped put NBC back on the map again. This is Us was one of the highest-rated shows on primetime during its first season last year. The series tells the story of Rebecca and Jack Pearson’s family as they jump back and forth through time.

This is Us has also earned plenty of critical praise and recognition. So far the show has earned 10 Emmy nominations, three Golden Globe nods,  and a Writers Guild Award win for episodic drama for an episode penned by Vera Herbert, according to Variety.

Fans are looking forward to seeing more of the cast in Season 2 along with answers to all of their burning questions. Many want to know just exactly how family patriarch Jack Pearson died and whether or not his daughter Kate Pearson will tie the knot this coming season.

So far NBC has not made any comments about the bonuses. This is Us Season 2 is set to premiere on September 26 at 9 p.m. on the peacock network.
