The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Weekly Spoilers January 1 to 5: Chelsea Freaking, Christian Missing – Sharon Slaps Abby – Billy Accepts New Challenge

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) spoilers for the week of Monday, January 1st through Friday, January 5th tease that “This New Year the stakes are higher, the secrets more scandalous, and the drama cuts deeper than ever before.”

Mal Young is really bringing it for 2018 and we have lots of exciting stuff heading our way! You will not want to miss a moment of the action!

In the newest CBS “The Young and the Restless” video promo we see Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) looking for baby Christian after he has disappeared. This is going to put a damper on her and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) relationship after he starts putting the blame on her. Chelsea will feel really bad and loves that child as if he were her own. Do you think it’s fair for Nick to be upset with Chelsea? Where do you think baby Christian has got to?

Elsewhere, Nick Newman runs into his sister Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and will confront her about kissing Scott Grainger (Daniel Hall). Of course Abby tells him there is nothing going on between the two and Nick will promise to keep her name out of it, but is determined to let Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) know what a slime Scott is. Nick will go to Sharon and tell her that Scott has been messing with another woman behind her back and her first instinct is to not believe him, but she will come around. Sharon figures out it was with Abby and she will go confront the two and it will not be pretty. Sharon will give Abby a big slap. Do you think Sharon slapping Abby was called for?

Meanwhile, J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) will have a chat with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and let her know that he doesn’t think Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is a good role model for their son Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu). J.T. will become very annoyed when Victoria defends Billy. Do you think he will come around and see that Billy has actually helped Reed?

Other “Young and Restless spoilers suggest that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will continue scheming to reunite Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil). Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will stand her ground, and her feud with her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) continues. Billy Abott will make a decision about the next phase of his life, and he accepts a new challenge.

So as you can see we have a very busy week coming up, but we have some sad news for you soap lovers on Monday, January 1st Y&R will be a repeat due to the holiday.
