The Young and the Restless (YR) Update on Kristoff St. John from Ex-Wife – Y&R Star Needs Prayers

“The Young and the Restless” star Kristoff St. John allegedly had suicidal thoughts, which reportedly led to a hospitalization. However, on Twitter, his ex-wife, Mia St. John, blasted TMZ’s report. New information has surfaced and Mia spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the situation. Keep reading to get the details on what really happened.

Even though Mia admits that the 51-year-old Y&R actor was part of “an incident,” she denies other elements of the report. She described the original news article as “inaccurate.”

She told ET, “I want the world to know the truth about what is happening with Kristoff, because currently there is inaccurate, and fabricated information being reported by certain online outlets. No parent should ever have to bury their child, and for those who do, it is a nightmare that haunts you forever. The death of our beloved son Julian, has taken a toll on both of us. He is an actor and while he may appear whole on the outside, his heart is broken. As a society, we need to start taking mental health seriously and realize that no one is immune.”

Mia added that something happened which pushed Kristoff St. John to the breaking point. Unfortunately, she claims it was not accurately reported and slammed news outlets that reported on the event as gossip.

“I hope that at this moment we can all wrap our arms around Kristoff and help him in this time of need. Help him heal and move forward. This is not a ‘gossip’ story, or an interesting headline, this is a man trying to deal with a tragedy, that has torn apart his soul. Right now, what he needs is your thoughts and prayers.”

Back in August, “The Young and the Restless” star and his ex-wife had an interview about suing the psychiatric facility. As Y&R fans recall, Kristoff and Mia decided to take the mental health institution to court. Already, big changes are happening. In the latest interview, Mia said that since Julian’s death, plastic bags have been removed from mental health facilities.
