The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers Wednesday, December 20: Ashley Wants CEO Position, Jack Upset – Nikki Tells Victor Her Secret – Lily Jealous Of Hilary

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, December 20, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will debate the Jabot situation. At home, they discuss the drama as they put up Christmas decorations. Billy and Phyllis eventually determine that they should leave any hostility outside the apartment. They agree that they shouldn’t let anything mess with their romance.

Across town, Jack (Peter Bergman) rants when he can’t get through to Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) by phone. He’s not ready to give up the CEO spot. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) insists this is happening, so Jack had better get used to the idea. Later, Billy chats with Ashley and she opens up a bit. She doesn’t want anyone to think she’s making Jack pay for taking care of Dina (Marla Adams) himself.

Billy feels like Ashley made the right call on Jack being overextended, so he offers encouragement. Meanwhile, Phyllis lets Jack know that she’s still got his back. At Crimson Lights, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) delivers some toys for the holiday toy drive. She reveals that she posted info for her viewers on the show’s website.

Sharon (Sharon Case) comments on Hilary needing good P.R. right now, but they avoid a major confrontation. Devon (Bryton James) is grateful for Hilary’s help and almost kisses her under the mistletoe. Things get awkward as Hilary leaves without a lip lock. Sharon teases that Devon wants Hilary for Christmas, but he gets rattled and insists that’s not the case.

At the Chancellor mansion, Hilary gives Cane (Daniel Goddard) some presents for Sam. He comments on their friendship before Lily (Christel Khalil) arrives. Cane has to step out, so Hilary greets Lily at the door. Lily looks suspicious and wonders why Hilary has gotten so close to Cane lately.

Hilary argues that Cane’s her friend and that’s it. She seems to think Lily just has some jealousy issues. Hilary suggests that Lily wants Cane back, but Lily maintains that she’s ready to move on. Later, Cane backs up that idea during a conversation with Hilary.

At the ranch, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) work out the details of a deal. Nikki’s moving into the guestroom and will take vacations without Victor. He intends to donate to her preferred charities and Nikki will get all the benefits of being in the Newman world. Their marriage arrangement is back on track.

When Devon hears they’re back together, he wonders if Nikki’s really OK with this. Nikki insists that it’s going to work out well for both of them. Afterward, Nikki tells Victor what she used the stolen money for. She admits she bought a park, so she’s the anonymous buyer.

Back with Jack and Ashley, their bickering continues. Jack wants to be put back on the CEO throne, but Ashley contends that it’s going to be hers permanently. It sounds like more tension’s ahead.
