The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victoria To Use Billy And Phyllis To Her Company’s Advantage

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is smart on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Her heart also rules her mind, which often proves true for the rest of Genoa City’s residents. Attempting to balance logic and emotion, which is one of life’s great challenges, Brash and Sassy’s owner must capitalize on the insider information she has been given and on Billy’s (Jason Thompson) impending dispute with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).

What Billy did was illegal, but it also could help Brash and Sassy remain competitive with Jabot. Stealing intellectual property is a serious crime. One that often goes unpunished because it can be hard to prove who the culprit is.

However, Ravi (Abhi Sinha) is a solid tech guy. His skills will likely see Billy eventually targeted as the thief. Whether evidence will allow his incarceration is another storyline option.

Ravi’s search for the breach initially led him to Dina’s (Marla Adams) password. But time will reveal that Phyllis’ laptop was unjustly accessed by the man who she trusts implicitly. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) will remember the naive statement Phyllis just made when Billy is likely tagged as the guilty party.

Vickie and Billy learned that Jabot is planning to blend its old-school marketing ideas with new products ideas. That realization came while they were reviewing Jabot’s stolen files that Billy downloaded from Phyllis’ computer. That information gives Brash and Sassy a major advantage in plotting its business strategy.

Billy previously took matters into his own hands when he arranged a special one-hundred dollar gift card reward for customers. He funded that incentive for the company’s business partners, which then resulted in a sales spike.

Brash and Sassy’s recent woes don’t jibe with its solid sales, which has currently confounded Jabot. When all is revealed, Phyllis will rightfully feel betrayed by Billy. That will almost certainly result in the end of ‘Philly’, which will provide a serious opportunity for Vickie to reunite with Billy.

In the meantime Brash and Sassy must make a max effort to increase its market share. Doing so could enable a longterm foothold in the beauty world, regardless of whatever becomes of Billy’s business reputation in it.
