The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victoria Must Change Her Life – Victor Sasses Brash Billy

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has chosen to wear too many hats for too long on The Young and the Restless. Now, her health was damaged by Brash and Sassy’s toxic face mask. She must take care of herself and also carefully consider whether she should accept her father’s help.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are pointing fingers. Both men harbor longstanding grudges against each other, which is mostly based on their views of what’s best for Vickie.

Drastic measures must be taken in order for the former division of Newman Enterprises to survive. Vickie’s latest drama means that Billy is in charge of the company, though Victor has already stated that he will make sure Brash and Sassy survives.

Vickie should consider whether her life will ever be stable if she maintains a goal of reuniting with Billy. He’s repeatedly let her down through the years.

‘Villy’ enjoyed good times for sure, but the amount of strife that this couple endured proved to be too much. Thus more than one marriage was ended. Would a subsequent attempt work?

As Y&R viewers recall, Victor encouraged his daughter to buy Jill’s (Jess Walton) full share of the now-embattled cosmetics business. He believed in Vickie’s ability to lead the company and still does.

However, many things ‘Moustache’ involve secondary agendas. It’s plausible to believe that Victor projected that Vickie would eventually need him to rescue her, meaning that Brash and Sassy would return to Newman’s corporate fold.

Considering its fragile financial state, it seems likely that either Vickie’s company will go under, or will need to join with a business partner. Billy knows that he’ll be forced out if Newman Enterprises becomes the savior.

While Billy is currently committed to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), he has always kept the Vickie option open. Leaving Brash and Sassy would close that door, which is what Victor wants. So the crisis that’s unfolding doesn’t just involve the future of a business, it’s also directly tied to ‘Villy’s’ potential revival.
