The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Faces Media Nightmare – Scott’s Criminal Charge Hurts

Newman Enterprises is a leading global business on The Young and the Restless . Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is facing a major media nightmare because the head of one of his division’s has been charged with murder. That’s surely not the type of press any company wants.

Scott (Daniel Hall) didn’t murder Natalia (Tina Ivlev). But, at this point, only the viewers, Zack (Ryan Ashton) and his enforcers know that. This is a terrible situation for Hall’s character to be in.

Zack spoke with Natalia recently. He told her that she shouldn’t be seen in Genoa City because the heat was on. She responded by saying that another person was giving her orders, to which Zack chided her. Scott was present the next time this side character appeared with a client.

Earlier this week Scott was having a few drinks with Zack at The Underground. That was a somewhat weak plot point because Scott brushed Zack off when both men recently met at the GC Athletic Club.

Ashton’s character has been pressing Scott for details of his Hashtag investigation into the trafficking ring for awhile. Even though he was trained to be an investigative reporter and heads the Newman media division, Scott unwisely divulged too much information to Zack about the progress he’d been making.

Scott chased after Natalia when he saw her at the Underground. Zack was glad that he didn’t catch up to his so-called employee. Later in that episode, while Scott was using the men’s room, Zack drugged Scott’s drink. Yes, the frame was being set.

Zack led a dazed Scott out of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Noah’s (Robert Adamson) establishment. Viewers later saw Scott wake up covered in pinkish blood, with Natalia lying dead. He’d been made to look like a murderer.
